Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess

How good it is when we recognize that God is our hope, and that He is faithful all the time, even if we fail Him, He remains faithful, but remember that God does not stop giving you everything He promised you. His faithfulness is not conditioned by our perfection or stability; it flows from His unchanging character. Even in seasons when our faith is weak, God continues to lift us, guide us, and sustain us. He does not forget His word nor abandon His children, for His promises are eternal and firm.

God remains faithful in everything He does and if He promised you that He will be with you wherever you are, do not doubt because He will do so. God does not lie and He is not a son of man to lie. His nature is pure truth, and every word that comes from Him is trustworthy. When He speaks, His word becomes reality, because divine faithfulness cannot be broken. This is why His promises give us security even when circumstances appear uncertain or painful.

And why do we say that He is not son of a man to lie? Because man is a liar, and he promises, but does not comply, which God does not like. Humans often fail due to lack of strength, lack of commitment, or broken motives, but none of these apply to the Lord. When God commits to something, He fulfills it. His integrity is perfect and His faithfulness is unshakable, reminding us that we can rest confidently in His word.

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

Hebrews 10:23

The author who wrote this book tells the people who were there to stand firm in the Lord, believing every day that He is their hope and their salvation, and made them understand that the one who called them would be faithful all the time. In moments of persecution, fear, or doubt, this powerful reminder strengthened their hearts. And today it continues to strengthen us, teaching us to cling to the hope we declare, especially when everything around us seems unstable.

Our hope is one that always has to be alive first, but what do we have to do to maintain our hope? We must trust in God, no matter what difficulties may arise, and remain firm above all obstacles. Hope is not passive; it is strengthened each time we choose to believe God’s promises over our fears. When we choose trust over anxiety, faith over doubt, perseverance over discouragement, our hope grows and our spirit becomes stronger.

Remember that when these moments of weakness or distress come, there we have to take new strengths to keep going until we reach the place where God has prepared for each one of us. Trials are not signs of abandonment; they are opportunities for God to demonstrate His sustaining power. He gives fresh courage to the weary and leads His children step by step toward His perfect plan.

We know that we have moments that we do not want to keep walking and this is because we have had many tests, and they have attacked us with everything, but it is good to mention this beautiful word where it says: let the weak say, I am strong. That declaration reminds us that our strength does not come from us, but from the One who empowers us. When we confess His truth over our weakness, His grace becomes our sustenance and His power is made perfect in us.

It is good to remember that, if you are lacking in faith or hopeless, you come to the aid of God, He is the one who helps us to increase our faith, and who also renews our hope, and who remains faithful all the time. But it is good that if you are going through one of these difficult times you kneel before God and ask Him for new strength to be able to continue walking to the place that God has promised for each of His children. Draw near to Him with confidence, knowing that He listens, strengthens, restores, and guides you with everlasting love. His faithfulness is your certainty, and His promises are your anchor.
