This is one of the promises that the Lord has made to us all the time, and that remains valid to this day, this is because He is a compassionate and merciful God.
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
These promises are for everyone who follows His statutes and keeps His word, but we must bear in mind that we must do God’s will and be faithful to Him, walk in the right way so that we can receive the promise of our Father.
It is very important that we are sure of what we do and what we are going to do in the way of God, because the Lord sees all the works of our hands, whether they are good or bad.
But let us remember that we will be safe in the way of the Lord because the Angel of the LORD encamps round about them that fear Him and delivers them, and this is to those who believe in His Word and who believe that the Lord will come and save them from all evil enemy.
Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
If we read each book of the Bible, we will find different types of promises that the Lord has made to His children, but apart from that He makes the promises because He also fulfills them, and this is because He is a just God and He is with us all the time.
Let us remember that, just as God has been and was with Jeremiah, He was also with the other prophets and with those who did His will, and that today He is with us, taking care of us and covering us with His breastplate.
It is good that we are well before the Lord and that we believe in Almighty God, and that we are always trusting in Him, no matter that He can tell us that there is no just God who cares for us and keeps us from all evil, but we believe His promises because God never fails, He fulfills everything He says, He is a faithful, just, great and true God.
