Never doubt the great love that Christ has for us, because this is not simply demonstrated with empty words, but with every drop of blood that descended from His body, with the nails in His hands, with the spear in His side, with the insults towards His person, with each slap He received and with the abandonment of a powerful throne and riches to an empty land full of sin.
There is a song that describes something of the love of Christ, says: “Oh what a love, immense love, inexhaustible, that has no end, that even suffering and exhausted, despised and dying, you rescued multitudes and me.” The truth is that the love of Christ is indescribable, but through songs like these we can express what the love of Christ meant for us: “He delivered us from eternal death and sin”. And I think this is the greatest gift that has been given to us.
Many people live waiting for a miracle from heaven and I do not say that this is wrong, but I do hold the idea that we received the greatest miracle more than two thousand years ago when Christ gave His life for sinners.
