Sometimes we think that God will leave us alone at the most difficult time we have, but it is not so because God is always around us to take care of us, to strengthen us.
God will not abandon us, but He sometimes allows difficulty in our lives to teach us that we will not be safe if we are far from Him, and through these difficulties we can know the Lord more.
I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Psalm 16:8
David did not give up despite the trials that he were going through, but he kept going forward, he knew that God had not left him alone at any time. The psalmist David was a man who believed in God to the fullest, he knew that the Lord did not leave him alone at any time.
Every day we must be trusting in the Lord, believe in Him, because He is our helper, has mercy for each one of us, is faithful in everything.
Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
Psalm 16:9
How good when we are confident in our good shepherd that is the Lord, it is good that if we are having a difficult time we believe in God, He is our sustenance, He takes care of us, He is our security, the source of peace that runs through all our interior.
David felt supported by the strong Rock, his heart was glad of the wonders of God, his soul was full of joy, and every day he lived trusting in the Lord.
For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
Psalm 16:10
Let us trust in the Lord every day, give Him glory, for all His wonders in our lives, let us guard for the Lord, let us serve Him alone.
