God crowns you with favors and mercies

Blessed be the Lord forever, let us glorify His name, exalt Him who lives for ever, every day He saves us from all evil and has mercy all the time. A wonderful and kindly God.

Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Psalm 103:3

It is good to remember that it is God who forgives us, He cleanses our way, frees us from adversaries, in the midst of darkness He gives us light.

Each day we must proclaim His name, and give thanks for each of the things that the Lord does in our lives. God is strong and powerful, just as He delivered the psalmist David from the claws of the lion and had mercy on Him, He will also do so with His children.

Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
Pslam 103:4

The Bible mentions countless people who have compassion and mercy, who were delivered from the lions, others from the fire. God is a God of mercy, He is the ruler of everything.

His name is above all names, everyone who has wanted to face the Lord has fallen, even everyone who has blasphemed against God has fallen before Him, but despite everything that has happened, God has given them an opportunity, which those who are rebellious have not wanted to obey and that is why they have died.

Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Psalm 103:5

We know that these are words of comfort and restoration, and are for all those people who were being persecuted as in the case of David who had to flee, and this was because king Saul wanted to kill him, but God was with him.

These verses from Psalm 103 invite us to meditate deeply on the greatness of God, not only for what He does, but for who He is. The psalmist presents God as the One who forgives, heals, restores, and renews. This is not simply poetry; it is the testimony of countless people who throughout history have experienced His mercy in moments of weakness, fear, and despair. When we read these words, we must remember that this same God continues to work in our lives today with the same power and compassion.

One of the most beautiful aspects of His mercy is that it is constant. God does not forgive only once; He continually extends His grace to those who seek Him with a humble and sincere heart. Many times we fall, fail, or distance ourselves from His path, yet He calls us again and again, offering renewal and cleansing. This renewal is what the psalmist describes as the youth that is renewed like the eagle’s, a symbol of strength restored and hope revived.

Throughout the Scriptures we see real examples of this renewal. Elijah, tired and discouraged, found strength in God to rise again. Daniel, faced with lions, experienced divine protection in the midst of danger. The three young Hebrews, before the furnace of fire, found deliverance when everything seemed lost. These stories remind us that God’s mercy is not theoretical; it is practical, real, and present in the daily lives of His children.

Even today, many believers experience God’s intervention in moments of illness, sorrow, or spiritual dryness. Sometimes the miracle is visible, other times it manifests in inner strength, wisdom, or peace that surpasses all understanding. But in every case, God remains faithful. His mercy surrounds us, lifts us up, and shapes our character so that we may trust Him more deeply.

Therefore, when we proclaim that God forgives our iniquities and heals our diseases, we are declaring a truth that transcends circumstances. He redeems our life from destruction, even when we do not see the danger. He crowns us with lovingkindness and tender mercies even when we feel unworthy. And He satisfies our soul with good things so that we may continue forward strengthened in Him.

Let these words be a reminder that God is near, that His mercy has no limit, and that His faithfulness endures forever. Just as He was with David, He will also be with us, sustaining, restoring, and renewing us each day.

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good
God is merciful to the merciful
