Whoever does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be anathema

In the final greetings of the apostle Paul in his first letter to the Corinthians, this man speaks of three men who serve the Lord and show the gospel of Christ in their lives, so Paul asks his Corinthian brothers to listen to these three people.

He talks about the family of Estéfanas, which is the first fruits of Achaia, and here he tells them that they must submit to them, we know well that the behavior and wisdom they carried was of good conduct.

It is good to note how joyful Paul felt, in 1 Corinthians 16:17 he says: I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied.

If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.

1 Corinthians 16:22

This family covered the fact that Pablo was not in that place, since they could replace Pablo during his absence, that is why he calls his brothers to obey those who brought the good message and discipline.

In the verse that we saw previously, the apostle warns anyone who does not love the Lord, this would be anathema, we know very well the meaning of this word according to the Bible.

Let’s stand firm Christ comes. That is why we must stand firm and in these are the final words of the apostle in his final salutation. Let us faithfully believe in the Lord, be obedient and wise. God bless you.
