Refuge for the oppressed

In this psalm, we will talk about how God treats the oppressed soul. God is comfort to the humble spirit and the good heart that has been humbled.

As the psalmist has expressed on several occasions, “the Lord is my refuge and strength.” Therefore, we must understand that God is always helping the poor and encouraging the distressed.

That is why we see this thanksgiving directed to the Lord for his wonders and for his great love for oppressed and distressed people. God is with the poor.

The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

Psalm 9:9

We can see the words that came out of the mouth of the psalmist David, praising the Lord for His great kindness toward those who are afflicted and who have needed to take refuge in the Lord.

The hand of God is with all who seek Him, with those who walk rightly before Him. The wicked have been judged, but more than that, the psalmist affirms that God has been and will be a refuge for the oppressed.

Let us not forget that God is always attentive to our call. Let us pray to the Lord, because He is our refuge. He is our firm rock. Praise the Lord with all your heart and give thanks for his love.

The wicked will fall into desolation
Whoever does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be anathema
