Because I want to be there that great day, praising and glorifying the Name of the Lord, raising my hands before Him and pronouncing that He is King of kings and Lord of lords.
For all His saints, because this must be the greatest desire and joy, to be able to be before the throne on that great day, that is why we must have a pleasant and firm life before the great Almighty, because only for Him will we be there on that great and wonderful day. God help us.
The hope of being present on that glorious day is not a vague or distant thought, but a living expectation that should guide our daily walk. The believer who understands the magnitude of standing before the throne of God strives to live in obedience, humility, and reverence. Our lives on earth are a preparation for that eternal encounter, where every word spoken and every action taken will be laid bare before the holiness of the Lord.
Scripture continually reminds us that worship is not only an act reserved for heaven, but a discipline that must be cultivated here and now. When we lift our hands in praise, when we glorify the Name of the Lord in prayer and obedience, we are rehearsing for that great day. A heart that worships God daily is a heart that longs sincerely to see Him face to face.
Powerful words were heard by this man of God named John. Words came out of that great and majestic throne of the Lord, saying:
And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.
Revelation 19:5
This heavenly proclamation reveals that praise is not optional, but a divine command extended to all who fear the Lord. From the smallest to the greatest, from every nation and generation, God calls His servants to exalt His Name. There will be no distinctions of status or recognition in that moment, only sincere worship flowing from redeemed hearts.
Praise the Lord all peoples, tribes and nations, praise His holy Name. These words make it very clear to us that we should long to be on that great day.
How nice it will be when you are called by your name, to be able to hear that voice pronounced that you are welcome and blessed on this great day. Be the Lord exalted forever.
Being called by name is a powerful expression of intimacy and belonging. It reminds us that our God is not distant or indifferent, but personal and loving. He knows His children, He knows their struggles, their tears, and their faithfulness. To hear our name spoken by the Lord Himself will be the fulfillment of every hope we have held onto through trials and perseverance.
Brothers, let us seek your paths with righteousness, let us wish that we could be praising and glorifying His Name. God help us every day to be people who seek his presence and that on that day we can be praising his Name.
Let us therefore examine our lives daily, aligning our hearts with the will of God. May our actions reflect the faith we profess, and may our words honor the One we desire to worship eternally. As we walk through this world, facing challenges and uncertainties, let our eyes remain fixed on that glorious day when we will stand before the throne, united with all the saints, proclaiming with one voice that our God reigns forever.
Until that moment arrives, may our lives be a living testimony of praise, obedience, and hope. Let everything we do prepare us for that eternal encounter, so that when the call is made, we may stand confidently before our King, ready to glorify His Name forever and ever.
