There is only one that sustains us and is called God

There is only one that keeps us in all the difficult moments, moments that if we do not have God ahead we could not go out to the places, but the one who sustains me lights my way and guides me on a safe path.

When life becomes challenging and circumstances seem too heavy for us to carry, it is at that very moment that we learn what it truly means to rely on God. Human strength runs out, strategies fail, and the path becomes blurry, but God continues to be the unshakable rock that sustains us. When you cry out to Him, He listens to you, He is your God who does not abandon you. He is always present, He sees everything that wants to prevent you from moving forward, so your God sustains and protects you, He is always attentive.

God is the One who blesses the widow, the orphan and supplies the hungry, feeds him, lifts the afflicted and takes away his sadness, gives courage to everyone who is afraid. Let us trust in the Lord God Almighty. Throughout the Scriptures, we find countless examples of how God shows compassion to the weakest, the forgotten, and the afflicted. He is a Father who bends down to lift His children, a Shepherd who guides His flock through valleys of shadow, and a Refuge for those who feel overwhelmed. This shows us that His help is not selective or temporary—His help is constant, faithful, and perfect.

That is why we will quote a very emotional verse about these words, words of truth, words of hope:

For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

Isaiah 41:13

God gave these words to the people of Israel through the prophet Isaiah, for the people needed God’s support because of their enemies. Israel was surrounded by threats, overwhelmed by nations stronger than themselves, and frightened by the uncertainty of their future. Yet God, in His infinite mercy, gave them a promise that remains valid for us today: “Fear not, I will help you.” These were not empty words; they were a divine guarantee that the Almighty was personally involved in their struggles.

The strength of this people came from God, He was the one who caused them to move forward with strength, and so they could defeat those who rose against them. Their victories did not come from military power but from divine intervention. And in the same way, the victories in our lives are not the result of our ability but of God’s sustaining grace. He holds our right hand—a gesture that represents closeness, guidance, and protection. God does not push us from far away; He walks with us, supports us, and lifts us up when our steps weaken.

That is why we thank God for this compassion for His children. God is good. His goodness is not limited to moments of joy; it also covers us in moments of pain, confusion, and weariness. His promise “Fear not” is repeated throughout the Bible because God knows how easily fear can take over our hearts. But against that fear, God places His presence, His voice, and His unfailing help.

Do not doubt that the grace of God sustains and takes care of us. God is always and will be attentive to His children. When we feel that everything is collapsing, God remains firm. When we feel weak, He becomes our strength. When we feel confused, He becomes our light. And when we feel alone, He reminds us that His hand is still holding ours.

So today, rest in this truth: the same God who helped Israel helps you. The same God who spoke through Isaiah speaks to your heart. The same God who sustained the afflicted sustains you. Fear not—He will help you.

God is just and merciful
If I am not firm on the strong rock that is God, what would happen to me?
