The second greatest commandment in the entire Bible

The Bible contains about 66 books exactly, however, despite all the things that are written in it, there are some that stand out strongly, and loving our neighbor is one of them, even, it is the second one that can make the most sound in the Scriptures. Let’s see what the gospel tells us according to St. Mark:

And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

It should not fit in the vocabulary of a Christian to say: “I hate my brother.” We must love each other, showing mercy, showing compassion.

Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

We must please our neighbor

The love towards the neighbor is shown when we seek to please Him, knowing that we have the faithful commitment to support each other. Therefore we live a life where we do not offend our neighbors and in this way we will contribute to the edification of the house of God.
