Wait for the Lord

I will walk every day trusting in the Lord, because He is my helper, who keeps me in my entrance and in my exit. God is the one who will sustain us in the most difficult moments of our lives.

“He is my light and my salvation and I have nothing to fear” said the Psalmist David. It is good that we understand that God is with us as a mighty giant, He is the one who sustains the afflicted of heart. God is the one who gives us the strength so that we can hope in Him.

I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living.

Psalm 27:13

God is righteous, and has compassion on the afflicted, so we must believe in Him, believe confidently that His goodness and mercy will be with us every day of our lives.

One thing happens and is that when we get closer to Him, the more confidence we will have and we will know of His great truth and power, and we will be patient and wait on Him, because He will be our guide, and His truth will be in our hearts.

The psalmist David, every day he had more and more confidence in the Lord, because he knew that he could trust only in God, because only He could help him, and that if He promised He would fulfill, this was the reason why his trust was placed in the Lord.

Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord!

Psalm 27:14

It is good that every day we cling to that unshakable faith, that we believe in the Lord no matter the trials, difficulties, afflictions, that come into our lives. God will help us endure all the trials, He will sustain us in bad times, as the Scriptures says in Psalm 23: 1 The Lord is my shepherd; nothing will be missing. We believe in Him and we wait for the Lord, because He will arrive on time.

  1. Wait for the Lord
    ==============
    Those that have received faith to believe in God and feel, each of them, they form a part of his family, trust the Lord as their refuge and fortress. He is their shepherd. Like the psalmist David, they think the Lord is the one who takes care of and defends them.

    The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
    He makes me lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters.
    He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Psalm 23:1-3

    Like a shepherd that looks after his flock and watches over it, so is our Lord Jesus for us. We trust him to supply all our earthly needs; we trust that he will lead us in this land we now live in; and he protects us against adversities until the day he wants us to be in his presence.
    In spite of the fact that we do not deserve any better treatment
    than other people, the Lord has been always our good defender. He has shown his mercy and love to us by his grace.

    Surely each of us must have had a number of tests, but he has always come near us when we have been in trouble. He has pardoned our sins and he has made his peace come back again to our soul. He has helped us to go on in the right way for his name’s glory. We can be sure he will not leave us at any time. We have believed in Him because the Father has taken us to his Son so that we could be saved.

    Why, oh Lord God, have you blessed me so much? I’m a sinner and you have given me faith to believe and to embrace your Son as my saviour, accepting his work on my behalf. It was only your grace and your free Will that have acted on me since I was a kid. Thank you very much, oh Lord.

    May the Lord God be eternally blessed for his love and mercy toward us, poor sinners. Glory, honor and thanksgiving to his sublime name. Amen
