“Oh, Lord, answer my prayer when I cry to You, because sometimes I am going through trials and I find nothing else to do, and that is why I only cry to You, because I know that you are my helper and can give me peace in the midst of the storm”.
One thing we must do is, when we ask God, let us ask in this way, asking Him to do His will because the will of God is perfect. His plans are higher, His timing is wiser, and His answers are always right. Remember that He will never be late; He will arrive at the right moment—neither too early nor too late, but exactly when His purpose is ready to be fulfilled in our lives.
Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
Psalm 4:1
God never forgets what you have asked Him. He is always aware of you, just as He was of the Psalmist David. David cried out to the Lord with confidence, knowing that one day the Lord would come to his aid. He remembered how God had strengthened him in past distress, and that memory gave him courage to ask again. In the same way, God sees your tears, hears your voice, and knows your struggles. Nothing escapes Him.
The Lord responds in His time, not ours. Just ask with a sincere heart, trustingly waiting for God, because He will not reject your prayer. His mercy will not be turned away from you, because He is a just God and loves justice. He delights in showing kindness to those who call upon Him, and He never grows tired of hearing the prayers of His children.
O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.
Psalm 4:2
We must also take into account something very important: many people want to seek the blessing of God in their own way, while loving everything that is not pleasing before Him. They want God’s help but reject His commandments. This is something God does not approve of. It is the same pattern we see in the history of Israel—the people wanted God to answer quickly, but they did not want to walk in obedience or holiness. When everything was convenient, they forgot the Lord; but when troubles appeared, they demanded His response immediately.
God calls us not only to pray, but to walk in sincerity before Him. Prayer without a sincere heart becomes empty words. God desires truth in the inner being, humility in our attitude, and obedience in our steps.
But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him.
Psalm 4:3
Let us not forget something essential: when we go before God, let us be sincere with Him. Let us express everything—our fears, our worries, our weaknesses, and our desires. He will listen to us and help us at the least expected moment. God is faithful and just with all of us. He sets apart those who seek Him with a pure heart, and He delights in responding to their cries.
May we learn to trust His timing, to walk in obedience, and to seek His face daily. The God who heard David will also hear you.

Answer my prayer, Lord
==================
In these days we go through, people do not pray so fervently as is needed to receive an answer from the Lord in the time he knows, then, we wait for the Lord and cry out: “Answer my prayer Lord,” and the answer does not arrive.
The psalmist said:
“Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.”
Psalm 4:1
The psalmist perceived his prayer was not answered by the Lord because he was not godly, he was not fervent in his prayer to be heard, he did not seek the glory of God and loved vanity (Psalm 4:2).
And he says this: “the LORD has set apart him that is godly for himself:”
The Lord has set apart him that is godly for himself; that one who prays to the Lord every day, that continualy cries out to him, not only when he needs to be helped, but also to be godly before the Lord each day. The reason for that is God is our Lord, and, in a way, He is always waiting for us. Then “the Lord will hear when I call to him” Psalm 4:3
It is beneficial for us to pay attention to the Word, and to learn to be closer to the Lord each day of our life. That way we will receive an answer to our petitions, and the Lord will not delay his answer when we are in distress.
May the name of the Lord God be praised for ever.
