The Lord fights for you

All our trust must be deposited in the hands of God without fear of anything because God is with us, it is good to trust in God all the time. Neither the way of darkness nor fear will make us ti turn back because in the Lord we are more than secures.

The people of Israel disobeyed God, and for this reason the Lord allowed them to be attacked by other peoples, but when the people saw that God was not with them they humbled themselves before the Lord to ask for mercy, but something happened and it was that God did not let them die, He was to the rescue of His people.

And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them;

Deuteronomy 20:3

The errors that the people of Israel committed were very useful to them, because they saw that God punished them, this was in order to obey the call of God because He knows everything, He knows where we can go, He knows where the danger is.

God spoke to the people so that they would not faint or fear when He was in front of their enemies, because He was with them to help them overcome.

The people of Israel doubted the Lord in spite of the wonders God made before their eyes.

For the Lord your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

Deuteronomy 20:4

It is good that every day we trust God, believe in Him, because He is the one who delivers us from our enemies, gives us victory, He does not depart from us, He is our helper.

One of the greatest lessons we learn from the story of Israel is that God remains faithful even when His people are not. Although Israel often failed, doubted, or walked in disobedience, God still extended mercy and reminded them that His presence was their greatest assurance. In the same way, we also experience moments of weakness, times when fear tries to paralyze us or when difficult circumstances threaten our faith. Yet God continues to say to us, “Do not faint, do not tremble,” because He has not abandoned us. His faithfulness does not depend on our perfection, but on His unchanging character.

When we face spiritual battles, internal struggles, or challenges that seem larger than ourselves, God invites us to remember that He goes before us. He does not call us to overcome in our own strength; instead, He promises to fight on our behalf. This truth should fill our hearts with deep confidence, for the same God who defended Israel is the God who defends us today. Even when the enemy rises with fury or when circumstances surround us like a flood, the Lord remains our refuge. He raises a standard against every attack and becomes our shield in moments of vulnerability.

For this reason, we must continually place our trust in the Lord, not only in moments of calm but especially in times of uncertainty. Trust is developed when we choose to believe His Word above what our eyes see. As we walk in obedience and dependence on Him, we discover that He truly is our salvation, our strength, and our victory. Let us move forward each day with the assurance that God goes with us, fights for us, and sustains us. And even when our steps feel weak, His mighty hand will not let us fall. Blessed is the people who trust in the Lord, for they will see His deliverance in every battle.

    ==================
    In the Lord our God we can get what we need when we are lead by his Holy Spirit.
    His promise of help and protection against evil people is always fulfilled, because the people of God are loved by him, as he said to Jeremiah:

    “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you” Jeremiah 33:3

    So we can be sure it is He who fights our battles. In our difficulties He is with us; it is he who gives peace to our soul when we are among other people we meet.

    “For the Lord your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.” Deuteronomy 20:4

    We can trust in God through Jesus Christ our redeemer and say with the apostle Paul: “If God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31
