Way of joy

Everyone who enters the path of the Lord will be joyful, because everything in Him is of great joy, there will be times when sadness will also come to our lives to try to put out the joy we have in the way of the Lord. But the joy of the Lord will strengthen us and will not allow that sadness to enter and harm us.

The difficulties can not extinguish the joy we carry on the Lord’s side, let’s not forget that we have difficulties along the way, but let’s not forget that we should walk joyfully all the time.

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

John 15:10

That peace that runs through our interior was given by the father so that we may be joyful, because only He gives us joy and strength to continue forward without fear of anything. All that joy comes from God who gives it to us through His immense mercy.

It is good that each day we keep His words in the depths of our hearts, that those words of power may run through our entire being, that they be like a river of living water. That, although we have trials, we can look to Almighty God, that we keep His commandments.

To abide in the love of God, that love that never ends, that is capable of transforming our interior, that love will produce peace, trust, joy. And this is true love is what the father gives us.

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

John 15:11

It is good that we continue under the one that gives us peace and allows that joy that runs through all our interior, that we only think of the joy of the Lord, because that joy will help us to stand steadfast before Him. It is important that we do not turn away from the Lord , because the joy of the Lord is our strength.

The joy that God gives us is not a superficial emotion nor a temporary feeling that depends on circumstances. It is a deep and abiding joy that flows from knowing that we belong to Him and that He holds our lives in His powerful hands. This joy does not disappear when trials arrive, nor does it weaken when tears come, because it is sustained by the eternal love of God. Even in moments of distress, the believer can say, “The Lord is my portion,” and from that truth springs a joy that surpasses human understanding. When we meditate on His promises, that divine joy becomes a fountain that refreshes our weary heart and lifts our spirit.

It is also important to understand that this joy is intimately connected with obedience. Jesus said that if we keep His commandments, we will abide in His love, and as a result, His joy will remain in us. This means that joy is not simply an emotional experience; it is the fruit of a life that walks closely with God. When we live in alignment with His Word, our inner being finds delight, because we are living according to the purpose for which we were created. Sin, on the other hand, steals joy, clouds the mind, and burdens the conscience. But obedience opens the door for the peace of God to reign within us and for His joy to flourish in our soul.

Therefore, every day we must make the decision to remain in Christ, to cling to His teachings, and to seek His presence above all else. The more we walk with Him, the more His joy becomes evident in our lives. And this joy is not only for us; it becomes a testimony to others that God truly transforms hearts. A believer filled with the joy of the Lord shines even in dark valleys and becomes a living witness of the hope that is found in Christ. Let us then pursue that joy, guard it with diligence, and allow it to strengthen us in every season, remembering always that the joy of the Lord is our strength.

Standing steadfast in the hands of God
God will keep you from the enemy

I’m sure that these words that the Minister writes, deserve to be paid attention to:

“It is important that we do not turn away from the Lord, because the joy of the Lord is our strength.”

This joy comes from the Lord, the source of all good for our soul. If we keep joined to Him, as the branch is joined to the vine, so by faith we receive the joy because we belong to the Lord Jesus.

May we always be close together to the Lord, fountain of life to our souls.
