Many times we think that God does not listen to our prayers, and this because of the fact that we feel we pray and pray, and we do not see materialized what we ask, but we must understand something very important about God, our Lord does not act as we, He knows the perfect and just time. We tend to despair, but in the midst of that despair we are often one step away from what was promised. If you think that God does not answer your prayers, I want you to know that this is not the case, God always listens to His children.
The psalmist wrote:
17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
Psalm 34:17-19
Every person who cried out to God in the Scriptures, God answered them and delivered them from all their fears, because they trusted in God and had God in the first place. In the same way we must learn to trust in God, to believe in God, that no matter how terrible the moment we find ourselves. Let us remember the story of the three young men who were thrown into the furnace of fire, they cared nothing but honor God and knew that for God it was something insignificant to free them from that furnace of fire.
Are you broken? Then it is important that you understand that God is close to you. Are you contrite in spirit? Then you must understand that those who are afflicted God will deliver them from all their afflictions.
We must understand that Jesus has promised to be with us every day until the end, that He keeps His sheep and that none of us will perish in His hands.
