Man used to have a close communion with God, but that communion was destroyed they disobeyed the divine command given by God in the garden of Eden. That sin dragged all humanity with it and from that scenario a wall between God and man was created. Would everything stay like this? Would the failure of a man keep us chained in sin forever? In no way, because Christ descended and dwelt among us and overcame sin and death to give us eternal salvation.
It is good that we understand this that “the Word became flesh.” Let’s read a few verses in the book of John:
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was with God in the beginning.
3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.John 1:1-5
John tells us here that in the beginning was the Word, that is, the Word exists from the beginning of everything, but, who is the Word? That word comes from the Greek Logos which means word, speech or reason. That is to say, when using the Greek word logos, is referring to Jesus Christ, meaning that in the beginning Jesus Christ has always been, that in principle He was with God and not only that He was with God but that He was God.
Through Jesus Christ all things have been created, through Him we breathe, we move, we get up and we drink every glass of water in our day to day life. Jesus Christ is our reason for living, and that is why we are going to find words in the Bible such as: “Put your eyes on the author and finisher of the faith.” Jesus is the only thing we need, if He is with us, we are complete.
That Word became flesh, lived among us as a man being God, suffered all kinds of temptations, suffered in vituperation, died for us and death on the cross, was scourged, hated and abandoned by all, and all this was done for love, for love of you and me, to save us from sin and hell.
Let us give glory to the only begotten Son of God, for the love that He has poured out upon us is great. If we put together the love of all the people who love us, of our mothers, children or couple, none of those loves would reach the stature of the love that Christ felt for us at the time of dying on the cross.
When we meditate on this truth, we realize that the incarnation of Christ was the greatest act of humility ever seen. The eternal God, Creator of all things, decided to limit Himself to a human body so that we could understand the depth of His grace. He walked among ordinary men, spoke with compassion, healed the sick, restored the brokenhearted and revealed the heart of the Father through every word and action. This was not simply a historical event; it was the greatest demonstration of divine mercy toward a fallen humanity that could not save itself.
Humanity had no way to break the wall of separation that sin had created, but God Himself opened the way through His Son. Christ came not only to forgive, but to reconcile us, to restore that communion that was lost in Eden. In Him we find the bridge that connects our weakness with the strength of God, our emptiness with His fullness. His light shines even today in the midst of a world filled with spiritual darkness, calling every heart to repentance and transformation.
We must also understand that this divine plan was not improvised; it was designed from eternity. God knew that man would fall, but He also knew that Christ would redeem. The cross was not a tragic accident of history, but the fulfillment of God’s perfect will. Through His sacrifice we are no longer orphans; we are children adopted into His kingdom, heirs of the promise and participants of the eternal life that only He can give.
Therefore, let us walk every day remembering that the Word became flesh so that we could have life, hope and a restored relationship with our Creator. Let us honor Christ with our obedience, with our thoughts, with our actions and with our gratitude. His love is the foundation of our faith and the anchor of our soul, and only in Him will we find the true communion that humanity lost but was gloriously recovered through His redeeming work.

Nobody loves you like Christ
=======================
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. John 1:3-4
It pleased the Father God to create all things altogether through his only begotten Son. It is a mystery to accept that the Lord God is Spirit and in Him there are three persons and it is more surprising that the second person would take a human flesh by love to men and women on this World.
All of us were in spiritual darkness without thinking in God, in our matters here on the earth. In the Lord Jesus was light and he came to us to give us his light to take us out of darkness. He gives life to his children that were dead in crimes and sins, because he loved us.
He loved us like no other can love us.
Because He left his inconceivable position in Heaven to be made in the fashion of a man, he humbled himself and became obedient until death, even the death of the Cross.
He did it by love to his people, by love to us who have receive faith to believe on his person, the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God.
His work has been recognized and appreciated in a big way by those who truly love him, and especially God the Father, who had mercy on us. This is…
“Why God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11
I confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Amen.
