Blessed are those who keep my ways

If you have read the book of Genesis you will realize that God created man in His image and likeness and gave him a commandment to stay on His path and not violate His commandments, but it was not so, the man did not fulfill the commandment of God, but he deviated and dragged with him all the humanity that was to come towards corruption. Did everything stay there? No! Well, God sent His only Son so that we would be redeemed from sin.

Beloved brothers, the truth is that when we guard ourselves from the world and its desires then we become blessed, happy people, admired people. And this is what God has called us, to turn away from the world and its desires, to study the Word of God and to go in prayer to know what the true way is in a world totally corrupted by sin.

31 rejoicing in his whole world
and delighting in mankind.

32 “Now then, my children, listen to me;
blessed are those who keep my ways.

33 Listen to my instruction and be wise;
do not disregard it.

Proverbs 8:31-33

This chapter is dedicated to speaking about wisdom, but not about any kind of wisdom, but that which comes from above, that which brings men into true sanity, the one that guides us towards the true path that is Christ.

There are men who think they are wise, but their wisdom is vanity, it is quickly destroyed and it does not illuminate them to take the correct path, nevertheless, the wisdom that comes from above, if we walk and we are attentive to that advice, which is the Word of God, then we will be considered as blessed men. If we keep this path we are truly blessed.

It is my prayer to God to help us stand firm in the wisdom of this world, to help us to have a thought like Christ’s and that his strength be with us every day of our lives.

  2. My thought, is that we should stay in the word of God everyday,
    And keep his living by his word.
    Jesus died for our sins so that,we should live.
    We owe it to self to live right and belive in his words.
    I thank you God everyday of my life.
    That even with my faults ,your love and mercy enduranth for ever.
    I just want to thank you lord.

  4. Lord I thank you every day that you came into my life and saved my soul from death, hell and the world of sin ,i praise you Lord always and forever. I thank you for your mercy and grace and love all the days of my life. I pray for your forgiveness Lord of my sins every day and to help me live for you .i ask this in Jesus name amen. Amen

  5. BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO KEEP MY WAYS

    From old times people of Israel were exhorted to go in the ways of the Lord. Moses, Isaiah or other prophets were sent from God to preach to them, pleading with them to go in the way of Lord, for they went away following other idols of their neighbors’, other nations, who did not know the Lord God nor his Law.

    “Why the Lord said, For as much as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men” (Isaiah 29:13)

    The children of God in Israel, then did not listen to the Lord, nor did they obey, adore Him with all their heart. They were religious people, but they did not love God like he commanded them. They fulfilled prescriptions of masters of Synagogues, such as “do not eat, nor drink, nor walk”, or things like these. Besides they adored gods of gold or stone and gave them blood’s offerings.

    Messengers were sent to request them to change of life, to come back to the Lord, but they did not listen to them. Afterwards the wrath of the Lord came against them, the enemies invaded the country, they were deported; droughts, or plagues came. The Lord God wanted to bring them to repentance, he wished they came closer to him because he is a merciful God.

    He stretched out his arms and spoke to them.
    God sent his own begotten Son, Jesus Christ to preach to them the Gospel of repentance. They despised him and they went on in rebellion and killed him.
    He was publicly scorned and crucified.
    Jesus said to them: “And you will not come to me, that you might have life.”. (John 5:40)
    Jesus, the Lord, died to save those who keep his ways. Those who believe and wait on Him.

    The Lord God says to people of the earth:
    “Now then, my children, listen to me; blessed are those who keep my ways.”Proverbs 8:32

May the grace of God be with me all the days of my life strengthen me Father God lead me into righteousness forgive me of my sins thank you Lord Jesus giving of your life so that I may have life I asked him pray that my sisters and brother be blessed give us wisdom give us understanding thank you for your love your mercy and Grace.
