The end of all things is near

We have heard countless times of non-christians criticizing us for preaching the coming of Christ. Many of them make an affirmation that we have been preaching this for many, many years and Christ has not yet come. That they think something like that is natural, because they do not know spiritual things and judge according to their thoughts, instead we, we must more and more preach this and believe it with our lives.

We see the continuous increase of evil, as violence grows in our society and this for the whole world is like a nightmare, there are streets where you can not walk safely, even, many times even at home we can not be calm and this for the fear that someone wants to come to steal and over the years we see this terrible unbridled increase of sin and to us as christians only remain to preach the powerful gospel of Christ, which is the only thing that can transform man, talk to them about the end of the world, that Christ will one day come for His holy church.

The apostle Peter said:

6 For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to human standards in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit.

7 The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.

1 Peter 4:6-7

Dear friend and brother, this land, all its beauty, all the buildings of men, together with their wickedness one day they will perish and there will not remain stone upon stone that will not be demolished and all nations will regret this fact.

Do not be surprised because so many years have passed and even our Lord does not come, keep believing that this end is near and he remember that our thoughts are not the same as those of God and that for Him there is no time like for us.

It only takes us to be sober and watch in prayer every day of our lives.

For centuries, believers have held fast to the promise that Christ will return, and this hope has strengthened the church in moments of persecution, darkness, and uncertainty. The mockery of non-believers is not new; Peter himself warned that in the last days people would scoff and say, “Where is the promise of His coming?” Yet the Christian does not base his faith on human opinions but on the unchanging Word of God. Those who reject the message cannot understand it because they evaluate spiritual truth with a natural mind, and the things of God seem foolish to them. But for the believer, the return of Christ is not only doctrine—it is our blessed hope.

As we look at our world today, we see the rapid moral decline that Jesus Himself described as signs of the end. Violence increases, wickedness multiplies, and humanity grows colder. We see families falling apart, nations rising against nations, and a world that seems increasingly hostile to the truth. These are not merely social problems; they are reminders that this earth is temporary. And in the midst of this darkness, the church has a mission: preach Christ. The gospel remains the only power capable of transforming a rebellious heart into a new creation.

Peter’s message is filled with urgency: “The end of all things is near.” This is not meant to create fear but to awaken our hearts. If the early church lived with such urgency two thousand years ago, how much more should we today? God is not slow in fulfilling His promise; He is patient, giving time for repentance. Every day that Christ delays is an expression of His mercy toward those who still do not believe.

This world, with all its achievements and glory, will eventually crumble. Cities we admire today will be reduced to ruins. Technology, culture, and human progress cannot stop the divine plan. Jesus will return, and when He does, every knee will bow—willingly or unwillingly. Nations will mourn, and the proud will tremble. But those who belong to Christ will lift their heads with joy, for their redemption will have come.

For this reason, the believer must not grow weary. Years passing do not weaken the promise; they bring us closer to its fulfillment. God does not see time as we do. What seems long to us is but a moment before His eternal eyes. Therefore, the Christian walks in faith, not in sight. We do not adjust our beliefs to society; we adjust our lives to Scripture.

Peter tells us exactly how to live as we wait: be sober, be alert, and pray. Sobriety keeps the mind steady, free from the distractions of this world. Alertness keeps the heart awake, aware of the spiritual reality around us. Prayer keeps us connected to God, dependent on His strength, and ready for His coming. A Christian who waits for Christ without prayer is like a soldier asleep on the battlefield.

So, dear believer, continue proclaiming the truth. Continue hoping, continue watching, continue praying. Christ will return, just as He said. And when that glorious day comes, every sacrifice will have been worth it, every tear will be wiped away, and every faithful servant will rejoice in the presence of the King forever.

The Lord your God is with you
Lord, You are my God

  1. Believe it or not my God is coming back soon in all of his glory, his timing is not our timing, one thousand years for us could very well be a day or a week for him he’s a forgiving God now ,it’s best to go before him not than when he returns as a frowning judge. Praise God.

  2. The Bible says no one knows the hour or the time that he will come we just need to make sure that we stay prayed up and that we’re living life according to the word of God. Love. Your neighbor as you love yourself pray for our sisters and brothers and our families. AMENπŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

  3. As the song goes these times they are a changing. So much hatred, no love for anyone. God will one day soon come and what will all the none believers say. Since we dont know the day or time, lets get prepared now, stay in prayer, love each and treat each other the way we ask our father to treat us. God bless.
