God’s love

God’s love is wonderful. It is good that we know that if His love is not in us, then we can not love our neighbor, as the Holy Scriptures tell us.

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
1 John 4:8

It is remarkable the lack of love of the people in these recent times, and this is because people do not seek the God of love. When you know the love, you are knowing the Creator of everything.

We see everything that is happening with people, and that they do not have love or have compassion for others, satan seeks the way to destroy people, making them believe that they are well, and making them believe that doing evil they are in the right thing.

The same Bible says that Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, this is because of the disobedience of men.

Man has not wanted to understand that God is love and that without Him nothing can be possible, but something I do believe that if we give ourselves to Him, then we will be receiving a spirit of humility.

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
1 John 4:9

Humanity is totally blind, this happens because of their behavior, because they do not listen to the voice of God, and these are those words that He left us written through His Holy Word.

10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
1 John 4:10-11

Remember that the Word of God is clear and true, that they are inspired by Him for us to study and that we know that He is a God of love, and that His word says: that He loved us first.

He sent His son to die for all mankind, so that we could attain eternal life, if God had not loved us, then He would not send His son to die for us.

We have to have something in clear, is that we must love our neighbor as the Word of the Lord command us, commanding us that, just as God has loved us, He commands us to love others.

It is important to recognize that God is love, and that if we do not have God then we will never have that love that is capable of loving everyone who is around us.

When we speak about love, we are not referring to an emotion that comes and goes, but to a divine quality that transforms the life of every person who allows the Lord to work in his heart. True love is not selfish, it does not seek personal interests, nor is it based on temporary feelings. Instead, it is a continuous expression of grace, mercy, and compassion that flows from God Himself.

Many people try to love others with their own strength, but without the presence of God it becomes impossible. Human love is limited, fragile, and often conditioned by circumstances. Yet the love of God remains firm even in moments of disappointment, betrayal, or pain. This is why Scripture insists that only those who have known God can love in the way the Bible describes.

The world is becoming more hostile, colder, and more indifferent. Every day we hear about situations that reflect the absence of God’s love in people’s hearts. Families are divided, friendships are broken, and society becomes darker. But the people of God are called to shine in the midst of this darkness by living out that love that comes from above. We cannot change the whole world, but we can influence those around us with the testimony of genuine love.

This love is also sacrificial. Just as God sent His Son for us, we too must be willing to love others even when it costs us time, patience, or forgiveness. Loving someone who treats us well is easy; the real challenge is loving those who hurt us, misunderstand us, or act unjustly. Yet Jesus Himself taught that this is the highest expression of God’s love in us.

Every believer should seek each day to grow in this divine love. Prayer, obedience, reading the Scriptures, and fellowship with other believers help strengthen the heart so that God’s love may flow more freely. When His love fills us, bitterness disappears, envy is broken, and the desire to do good becomes stronger. Only then can we truly reflect the character of Christ in our daily walk.

Therefore, let us not allow the wickedness of the world to extinguish the love that God has placed in us. Instead, let us remain firm, remembering that the greatest testimony a Christian can give is to love as God has loved us. Through that love, many can come to know the truth and be restored by the power of the Gospel.
