In my Father’s house are many mansions

Never doubt the great love that Christ has for us, because this is not simply demonstrated with empty words, but with every drop of blood that descended from His body, with the nails in His hands, with the spear in His side, with the insults towards His person, with each slap He received and with the abandonment of a powerful throne and riches to an empty land full of sin. His sacrifice was not symbolic—it was real, painful, and completely voluntary. Christ left heavenly glory to enter a world that rejected Him, and He endured humiliation so that we might receive life.

There is a song that describes something of the love of Christ, saying: “Oh what a love, immense love, inexhaustible, that has no end, that even suffering and exhausted, despised and dying, you rescued multitudes and me.” The truth is that the love of Christ is indescribable, but through songs like these we can express what the love of Christ meant for us: “He delivered us from eternal death and sin”. And I think this is the greatest gift that has been given to us. His love is not limited, nor does it depend on our worthiness; it springs from His divine nature, overflowing with grace toward sinners.

Many people live waiting for a miracle from heaven, and I do not say that this is wrong, but I do hold the idea that we received the greatest miracle more than two thousand years ago when Christ gave His life for sinners. What greater miracle could we desire than forgiveness, reconciliation, and eternal life? The cross is the place where God’s justice and His mercy met, where humanity’s greatest need was satisfied by God’s greatest act of love.

Christ said to His disciples:

1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

John 14:1-3

Christ guarantees us a great salvation and tells us that He has gone to prepare a place for us, and that place is not about any place, but rather it is the best place. Heaven is a home crafted by the hands of the Savior Himself, a place without sin, sorrow, or pain. He guarantees that one day He will come for us so that where He lives we can also dwell for an eternity. This promise gives us strength in moments of fear, hope in moments of discouragement, and joy in moments of trial.

We give glory day by day to our glorious Savior for making us share in His undeserved grace. Let us always remember what Christ said in these verses: “Do not let your heart be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in me.” His words calm our souls and remind us that our future is secure in Him. No matter how difficult life becomes, we can rest in the love of Christ—a love proven at the cross, confirmed in His resurrection, and promised for eternity.

The Lord is your keeper
God is God forever
