Every day that passes we see how humanity advances towards evil, men committing all kind of atrocities regardless of the consequences that may come to their lives.
The humanity every day is involved in pleasures of the life, but is not pending to that all this passes, and that their life someday will arrive at its end by all the evil that have committed.
The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.
If we begin to read chapter 6 of Genesis we will find that man multiplied day after day, but likewise evil also grew.
Verse 6 of Genesis 6 tells us that God repented of having created man and that His heart was troubled. But many will think that God does not have a heart, but they are wrong because the Lord does hurt everything that happens in this world.
We see in what has become, in a total depravity where men do not care to kill their neighbor:
The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled.
Many wonder, and why does God regret having created man?. Well, because man has always been ready to listen to his own conscience and to practice evil, descending continuously to evil.
Man did not think about the Creator, what would think that who created us, they thought that God was going to allow them everything they were committing before His eyes:
7 So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.”
8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.
Genesis 6: 7-8
Then God decided to erase man from the face of the earth because of his wickedness, because man went continually to evil, but not only man but everything He had created.
Those people thought that God would sit idly seeing their sin, but surprise, because it was not like that, because God does not miss anything, He is always attentive to everything we do, because His eyes are on us, and it is good that if we are doing something that is not pleasing before God, let’s fix it before it’s too late.
