Today we see how many people turn away from God, regardless of the fact that He gave His life for each one of us. This is the message that must continually reach our hearts: Christ was crucified for our sins, and through His sacrifice we have access to eternal life. Yet even with such a profound act of love, humanity often walks in the opposite direction. In the midst of this reality, we must remember the words of Jesus recorded in the Gospel of John, a declaration that reveals His divine power and the foundation of the Christian faith:
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
John 11:25–26
Here John presents one of the greatest truths given to humanity. Jesus is not merely a teacher, a prophet, or an example—He is the resurrection and the life. He alone has power over death, over sin, and over the destiny of every soul. This passage teaches us how deeply we should value the love Christ has for us. If we believe in Him, we will live eternally. Jesus is clearly telling us that He must be the center of everything: the center of our lives, our families, our decisions, and every aspect of our existence.
We must believe this with a firm and unwavering faith. Christ is not only the giver of life; He is also the author of all things. He is sovereign, powerful, holy, and faithful. Knowing this should lead us to place our complete trust in Him. When we surrender our life to Christ, when we believe in Him wholeheartedly, everything begins to change. Fears lose their grip, despair turns into hope, and our hearts find rest in the One who holds all things together.
There are moments when we find ourselves in difficult circumstances and questions arise in our hearts: “Where is God? Why has He not answered? What has happened?” These questions often come from pain and uncertainty, but the truth is that God is always near His children. He listens to every sincere prayer, He sees every tear, and He knows every struggle we face. Even when we cannot perceive His presence, He is there—guiding us, protecting us, strengthening us, and working in ways we may not yet understand.
Throughout the Scriptures, God shows Himself as a faithful Father who never abandons His people. He walked with Abraham, sustained Moses, protected David, restored Peter, and comforted Paul. And just as He was with them, He is with us today. His love is constant, His mercy is abundant, and His promises are unshakable. Believing in Christ means trusting that He is working even in silence, even in waiting, even in trials.
As we conclude this beautiful passage, let us take its message to heart: do not turn away from God. Keep seeking Him with love, sincerity, humility, and patience. Let Him take the first place in your life. Make Him the center of your thoughts, your plans, your priorities, and your dreams. A life built upon Christ is a life that stands firm in every storm. A heart that trusts in Him will never be put to shame.
May these words encourage you to walk closer to God each day, to place your confidence in the One who conquered death, and to live with the assurance that He is your resurrection, your life, and your eternal hope.

Christ, the center of everything
========================
From the moment we acknowledge that all the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Christ bodily, and when we believe that we are complete in Him—who is the head of all principality and power—, then our all is Christ: he is the center of everything in our lives. This is the revelation of the apostle Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit, as he writes to brothers at Colosse (Colossians 2:9-10).
But what does it mean that Christ is “the center” of everything? Each of us must have Him as the principal divine person in our life, in all ou life. And, since by Him and for Him all things were created, He must also be the first whenever we make plans or decide to do something. Our attitude must be of submission to his Will, waiting on pHis help and leading in all our things.
However, we ought not to forget that He is one with the Father—He is like the Father—, and if we love and accept Jesus, we must also receive in our hearts the Father who sent Him to us. Jesus himself showed his submission to the Father.
It has pleased the Father that Jesus is the resurrection and the life. He has the power to give life to the dead. And we will be alive again if we believe in Him. If we expect in Jesus Christ, we will never die: we will live forever in the Father’s House, there in Heaven with Him.
Jesus said that to Martha, Lazarus’ sister:
“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?’”
John 11:25-26
You that read this, do you believe you will never die? If you received Christ in your heart and believe in Him, you will never die. This is a promise that Christ will fulfill.
I thank God for my hope is in Him
AMEN
