In 2019 we needed God and this 2020 we need even more of Him, and that is that needing God is not something that ends, it is something progressive, something that will always be there, because we depend totally on Him. Based on that need of God Here are some verses from the Bible that tell us about that great need for God that the ancients had and that we also have today.
May that thirst for God be increased this 2020
What was your level of spirituality in 2019? I assure you it was a lot, but how did you express that need for God? A goal to be drawn is that this 2020 that need for God be expressed just as the psalmist did, expressing that need to not want to be far from God or His home.
1 As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.
2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
God is our guide
Sometimes we are involved in so many things in our day to day that we forget that God must be the helm of all our plans, that we need His advice, since we are human and we can err, but God is sovereign and has the best for us. So, we must set out to be guided by God.
O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
Use your money carefully, ask God for direction
Has God blessed you financially? Regardless of whether that blessing is of little or much according to your need, thank God, be a good steward of the goods that the Lord allows you to have.
And whatsoever shall seem good to thee, and to thy brethren, to do with the rest of the silver and the gold, that do after the will of your God.
