There is only one to whom we owe honor, glory, majesty, and praise for ever and ever. Our sovereign God gave us His Son so that we might be saved through His great sacrifice for all mankind. No act of love in history compares to what God accomplished through Christ. His plan of redemption was not an afterthought but a divine purpose established before the foundation of the world. Through Jesus, God revealed His mercy, justice, holiness, and unfathomable grace.
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,Philippians 2:9
It is important to see this beautiful expression, as the author speaks of Jesus saying that the Almighty God gave Him a name and exalted Him. God placed Him in the highest position, giving Him lordship and authority over all creation. Even though many despised Him, rejected Him, and doubted Him, God Himself honored Him above all. Christ, who humbled Himself and became obedient even unto death, was lifted up in glory, crowned with majesty, and seated at the right hand of the Father.
Many people despised the One who can do everything, the One who makes all things possible—the Almighty God. People murmured against Him, beat Him, and blasphemed His holy name. Yet God, seeing all this, sent His only Son to die for all mankind so that we might be saved. This is the greatest paradox of love: the innocent died for the guilty, the pure for the impure, the righteous for the sinners. Jesus endured the cross because of His immense love for humanity.
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,Philippians 2:10
But let us remember something: every knee will bow before His great majesty and power. Whether willingly in worship or unwillingly in judgment, all creation will acknowledge His lordship. He is worthy of all honor, dominion, and empire. God has full control of all things, and everything that exists does so by His power. The universe rests in the palms of His hands, upheld by His word.
His power is so great that we could not bear to see Him face to face in our present state. He is everything—eternal, sovereign, glorious. To Him be the glory forever. The whole earth is filled with His glory. Nature itself declares His greatness; the heavens proclaim His majesty; the mountains echo His strength; the oceans exhibit His power. Every corner of creation whispers His name.
The sky is like the palm of His hands, the earth bows before Him, the sea trembles at His glance. The animals run when they sense His voice, the abysses exalt His power, hell kneels before the Sovereign, death itself shudders and stops before His majesty. Demons flee at His presence, and everything that exists—and even what has not been mentioned—will bow and will not be able to withstand His great power. All mankind will one day bow their knees before God.
and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.Philippians 2:11
It is most important that at all times we recognize that God is the Almighty and that His name should be exalted everywhere. Our worship should not be reserved for one day of the week; it should flow from our hearts daily. Let us proclaim His greatness, honor His Son Jesus Christ, and live in gratitude for the salvation He has provided. For from Him, through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen.

“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
(Philippians. 2:10-11)
It pleased the Father to give to His beloved Son Jesus honor, glory and majesty. Because He did not mind to humble himself and take on the carnal body of a man; to take upon Himself the guilt of those who were sanctified and chosen in Christ before the beginning of time.
He was despised and mocked by men; He was nailed to a Cross, shedding his blood in sacrifice to forgive the sins of believers.
God the Father exalted Jesus and gave Him a name which is above every name.
God the Father ordained that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow before Him. All creatures must receive the Lord and confess Jesus Christ, for He is the Lord of heaven and earth—as the Father is—, for his own glory.
All the children of God must be obedient to Him, sheltered in Jesus Christ, the beloved Son of God the Father.
May His name be blessed.
