There is only one to whom we owe honor, glory, majesty, and praise for ever and ever, our sovereign God gave us His son to be saved by His great sacrifice for all mankind.
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
Philippians 2:9
It is important to see this beautiful expression as this author speaks of Jesus saying that the almighty God gave Him a name and exalted Him, and put Him in the right place and although many despised Him.
Many people despised the one who can do everything, the one who makes everything possible: Almighty God. People murmured to Him, beat Him and blasphemed against Him. But God, seeing all this, wanted His only son to die for all mankind in order that we may be saved.
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
Philippians 2:10
But let us remember something and that is that every knee will bow before His great majesty and power, because He is worthy of all honor and empire. God has control of all things. Because by Him they are made and they are on the palms of their hands.
His power is so great that we can not bear to see Him face to face, He is everything, to Him be the glory forever. The whole earth is full of its glory, nature announces its great power because even it pronounces His great name everywhere.
The sky is like the palms of His hands, the earth surrenders before Him, the sea trembles before His great glance, the animals run when they feel His voice trembling, the abysses exalt His power, the hell kneels before the sovereign, the death stops and trembles before His majesty, the demons flee from His presence, and all the other things that exist and that were not mentioned, will bow and will not support His great power, and all mankind will bow their knees before God.
and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:11
It is most important that all the time we recognize that God is the Almighty, and that His name should be exalted everywhere.
