We can see the despair of people today, who always want to do everything in a hurry even when they have the chance to do it slowly and well, and that is because the Lord’s Word commands us to do everything calmly and with love.
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:Ecclesiastes 3:1
The writer of this book, was not wrong when he said that everything has its time, and it is not a lie, it is a great truth that everything has its time.
When we give way to despair, then this messes our way of life, and it is because we are doing everything quickly, regardless of the consequences that may come to our lives.
Carrying this lifestyle causes it to be shortened, and this is because of the hurry we are taking our body, but do not forget that this body reaches a state that can no longer.
1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
In this book we see that each of these Biblical verses tell us the reality of life, but sometimes we do not do so when the Word still gives us advice to do it in God’s way, but we ignore it and do not do case to none of this that is explaining the Bible.
And what happens when we do not take this advice? The consequences come, the death comes and knocks on the door, and this was for not to take the advice to do the things in its time, and something that should be clear, is that you must take into account that, if you are doing things very desperately, then change and do it as His Word says, indicating to you that this must be so that your body can resist more and more.
When we reflect on these words from Ecclesiastes, we realize that God designed life with rhythms and seasons. Nothing in creation occurs by accident or without process. Even the simplest elements of nature teach us this: seeds require time underground, rain follows its cycle, the day arrives only after the night has completed its course. Yet, human beings often try to break these rhythms, living as though rushing could produce better results. In reality, impatience only brings exhaustion, emotional instability, and spiritual weakness.
The Bible highlights that each season has a purpose. There are moments for joy and moments for tears, moments to advance and moments to wait, moments to speak and moments to remain silent. Understanding this truth helps us avoid unnecessary frustration. Many people become overwhelmed simply because they want to force outcomes that God has not appointed for that moment. When we try to harvest in the season of planting or attempt to build when it is time to heal, the result is confusion and discouragement.
Learning to slow down is not a sign of weakness but of wisdom. Patience allows us to walk in harmony with God’s timing. When we surrender our anxiety and decide to trust His process, our decisions become clearer, our spirit becomes calmer, and our steps become steadier. God does not rush, yet He is never late. His plans unfold perfectly, even when we do not understand His timing.
Therefore, if despair has taken hold of your heart, pause and breathe. Remember that God is guiding your journey. Living desperately only steals your peace and blinds you to the blessings already in front of you. Instead, walk at the pace that God has set for your life. He knows the path, He knows the season, and He knows what your heart needs at every moment. Trust His timing, for it is always perfect.
