Do not be afraid

It is important to consider the expression of this verse, which urges us not to fear when we approach the Lord, for He is our shield and our confidence. The Lord calls man in the midst of difficulties and adversities.

We have yet to meet anyone whom God has called upon in affliction and who has been put to shame. If you draw near and are obedient, you will be covered by His great mercy, and God will be your protection. Thus, if you trust in the Lord, you need fear nothing.

Brother in Christ, if you face difficulties and adversities, you need only obey and listen to what God tells you through this verse. The Lord invites you to come into His presence and trust:

Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not.

Lamentations 3:57

Why not trust if God is telling you to come near on the day He calls you? This verse emphasizes that we must trust in the Lord in the midst of trials and tribulations. Therefore, every day, respond to this call with faithfulness and believe in God’s protection.

This promise brings peace and tranquility at all times, because we know that God is just and that His goodness and mercy will be manifested in our lives.

These words are very encouraging. Let us trust in the answer the Lord gives us in every prayer, whether we go to bed or wake up each morning; just trust and heed this very special call from God.
