In chapter 4 of the book of Job, we can see the words of Eliphaz, who makes a comment towards Job. In his observation, we can see that he believes that Job suffered some consequences because he had carried sin or that there was iniquity in him. However, he was wrong in his words.
There are trials, as in the case of Job, that are very hard. We know that these can be so strong that we think of giving up everything, but that is why we have the hope that is in the hands of our God. We must remember that God never abandoned this man who was going through very difficult times.
Those who are just and righteous before the Lord will not be reached by the wrath of God nor consumed, because they have not committed iniquity.
