Lazy people always live their lives as if nothing matters to them, this type of people are very calm, they act only when someone holds their hands, they don’t like to work, they just like to sleep and others do their homework.
What can happen to someone lazy? He is someone totally trapped, the life of that being is totally disordered, he picks up when he doesn’t have to pick up, he sows not yet being the time.
This is an admonition of the wise proverb speaking to the lazy man:
How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?
Proverbs 6:9
Solomon’s words are clear in this verse, this man asks the lazy to explain his ways, because in poetic form he says that the lazy only wants to sleep and do nothing else. This is not good, beloved brothers, because a person like that, when difficult times arrive, well, he has a very sad end because he never prepared himself for such a thing.
Beloved brother, beloved friend that you are reading, are you sleeping in the ways of the Lord, are you sleeping in this life? Don’t sleep, wake up, stand up. Laziness should not take first place.
