Wide is the gate that leads to destruction

That spacious gate that leads to destruction is in front of us, well accommodated and decorated with all the luxuries that this world can offer. It is attractive, broad, and comfortable, and this is precisely what makes it so dangerous. Many walk through it without realizing the tragic end that awaits them.

The Bible speaks clearly and repeatedly about the destiny of humanity and the path of salvation offered by God. Jesus, with unmistakable firmness, warns us in the following verse:

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat.

Matthew 7:13

This verse explains why we must choose to enter through the narrow gate. Jesus describes the wide gate as the path filled with the pleasures, comforts, and desires of this world—those very things that the enemy offers to captivate the souls of men. Satan presents everything that seems desirable, everything that appeals to our flesh, even things we have never tasted, all with the purpose of drawing us away from God and leading us toward destruction.

The great danger of the wide path is that it feels easy. It demands nothing, restrains nothing, and promises everything. But behind that façade lies spiritual death. The enemy is intentional, persistent, and strategic in offering whatever is necessary to keep a person far from the truth. He knows you are valuable to God, and he knows Christ did not die in vain. This is why he tirelessly seeks ways to enslave the conscience through sin, guilt, and shame.

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Matthew 7:14

The path that leads to Jesus is narrow, not because God wishes to make your life difficult, but because walking with Christ demands obedience, self-denial, and faithfulness. It is a path that confronts our flesh, transforms our desires, and shapes us into the image of Christ. Yet even though the path is narrow, Jesus never leaves us to walk it alone. He strengthens, sustains, and guides those who place their faith in Him.

Jesus offers something infinitely greater than anything the world can promise. He gives life—true life—and life in abundance. He renews our minds, transforms our hearts, and leads us toward eternal joy. He is the Almighty, the giver of every good gift, and the One who fulfills every promise spoken.

It is essential that we determine in our hearts to follow Jesus consistently and not separate ourselves from Him. Everything Christ gives is good and perfect. In contrast, the enemy offers only vanities—illusions designed to distract and ultimately destroy. Satan knows your worth before God and therefore works relentlessly to draw you into sin so that your conscience becomes clouded and your heart discouraged. But his goal is not merely to tempt you—his aim is to finish you. This is why we must remain firm in Christ, who alone has the power to deliver us from the snares of the hunter.

If we desire to enter through the narrow gate Jesus spoke of, we must walk in obedience and remain on the path of salvation. Do not reject the Giver of life. His desire is not to burden you but to rescue you. He longs to save you from the traps of the enemy and lead you to the kingdom of heaven. Jesus offers the best, and He offers the only true path. Only He can guide you safely to eternal life.

I am a Christian, but sometimes I can not feel God, is that normal?

God’s Will for men and women of this World is that they love each other and seek each other’s welfare, doing good to all. The way you want to be treated by others, even so you should treat others also. And we should separate ourselves from evil.
“Therefore all things whatever you would that men should do to you, do you even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” (Matthew 7:1)

The Lord Jesus Christ teaches us that the purpose He had in giving us his Law was that he wants us to love people by our good behaviour: because not killing, not stealing, lying or coveting, and the fact of keeping a day of rest for the Lord, all these imply that you love your neighbour (if you respect the Law), and that you love God above all things. The prophets announced too what people must do to do God’s will.

Besides, Jesus tells us to strive to do good things for others, and to have a good behaviour although it is difficult for us, since we are prone to do evil things.
So we learn that the evil way, which is easy to go, leads us to destruction, to damnation.

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat” Matthew 7:13

The Father’s will is for men and women to go to his Son Jesus Christ; and to confess their sins and receive Him. If they do that, He forgives them, and they can enter purified in his heavenly House
