Maybe you are going through a very difficult moment and you do not know what to do, and even more, the situation has been so difficult that everything seems to be destroyed and you think that you will not be able to overcome this situation. There is good news and it is that the processes are not to die in midst of them, but to rise with new strength.
Every man in the Bible experienced pain and in such a strong way that perhaps none of us have reached that point. Many of them were persecuted by kings, governors and important people of the moment, however, they were lifted with new strength and undertook things they had never thought to do.
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31
It is true that in many situations we lose our strength and even doubt the company of God in our lives, and we believe that everything is destroyed, but it is not so. The key is that in the middle of the process we wait on God, and when we wait on God, He promises us that He will give us new strength and that our wings will be raised like eagles, that is, we will be in a higher place.
The apostle Paul expressed:
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
2 Corinthians 4:7-9
It does not matter the problem we are going through, that we feel sad and dejected, this is not the end, this is only the beginning of a greater glory. And of course, it is normal for us to feel distressed, but those are the right moments to affirm our trust in our Creator.
In the Bible we read some examples of people that God delivered from great trials and that at their time He exalted them. Briefly we will mention some of them, in order to increase our faith and think in a different way.
We have the case of Joseph, who went through various tests, he saw the point of death, however, God had something sublime for him, and that person who was simply a slave, who practically had his life in a thread of death, God had made promises to him through dreams, and he remained faithful to God, believing that the one who promised was faithful to fulfill what was promised. (Genesis 42:6)
We also have the case of Daniel, who was brought captive from Israel to Babylon. God endowed this man with the gift of interpretation of visions and dreams and led him to be third Lord of the kingdom (Daniel 5).
What other case can we mention? David suffered many hardships from Saul, however, the time arrived where he became king of all the people of Israel.
And in this same way, around the entire Bible we can see men that God exalted in his time. Something that characterized them all was trusting in God with all their heart. In the same way, we invite you to trust in God in the midst of pain, trials and affliction and when it is time God will exalt us.
We leave you with this verse that shows us how God blesses us in due time:
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
1 Peter 5:6-7
