To whom I will go Lord but to You, only You Lord are the one who helps me at all times, when I go to You you don’t reject me, that’s why I come only to You.
That is why we give our pleas to the Lord, do not trust anyone else, for only God can help us, so we must thank Him for His great goodness and love for us.
Many people believe that they can do everything and that they do not need God, but they are wrong because with God we can do everything and we cannot do nothing without Him.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
Psalm 121:2-4
The previous psalm was written by David when he was in anguish. David’s help came only from God.
David always recognized that God was the principal in his life, that He was his help. When he went through difficult times and his enemies came against him, God would help him. In the same way, when we go through difficult times and call Him He answers us and helps us.
This truth is something that believers must never forget. Human strength is limited, wisdom fails, and resources are exhausted, but God remains faithful forever. When the psalmist declares that his help comes from the Lord, he is affirming complete dependence on God, acknowledging that no human effort can replace divine intervention. This confession teaches us humility, because it reminds us that everything we have and everything we are comes from the Creator of heaven and earth.
Trusting in God does not mean that difficulties will disappear, but it does mean that we will not face them alone. The Word of God shows us time and again that those who place their trust in Him find refuge, strength, and direction. David experienced moments of fear, persecution, and deep sorrow, yet in every situation he lifted his eyes to God. This is an example for us today, because many times we try to solve our problems by our own strength before seeking the Lord.
The psalm also emphasizes that God never sleeps nor slumbers. This is a powerful message for anyone who feels abandoned or forgotten. While we sleep, while we grow tired, while our strength fades, God remains vigilant. He watches over our steps, protects our lives, and sustains us even when we are unaware of it. Knowing this should bring peace to our hearts, especially in moments of uncertainty and fear.
When we understand that God is our constant helper, our way of living changes. We begin each day with gratitude, recognizing that it is by His grace that we stand. We pray with confidence, knowing that He listens to us. We walk forward without fear, because our security does not depend on circumstances but on the faithfulness of God. This trust strengthens our faith and helps us remain firm even in the midst of trials.
That is why every day we must recognize that there is only one who can help us, this is sovereign God, we must thank all beings created by Him, because only His powerful grace that sustains us and strengthens us in the midst of struggles. Let us worship God for this great and blessed love.
Let us remember the biblical verses that we saw in this article, because they speak very clearly of Him who watches over us, who never sleeps, is always attentive to us and takes care of us.

Hi! Yes there’s nothing we can do on our own or in our own strength or power. All comes through the grace of God through our faith in Christ Jesus. His help towards us whether we think it is our own strength comes to us through His unmerited favor, sometimes it is comes whether we ask Him or not, but because He sees our need, and He knows our love and faith in His Son Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. He does exceedingly abundantly anything we ask, think or imagine according to the power that works in us by Christ Jesus.(Ephesians 3:20) Our help comes from the Lord Jesus Christ, if you don’t know Him today, you can ask Him by faith in your heart,by saying l believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord of my life.(Romans 10:9,10
