God has better plans than yours

God’s plans are perfect, so we must have confidence in God and put all our plans in His hands, because only He knows everything that suits us.

Sometimes people appear, who think that they can solve everything themselves, some say they do not need God to make their plans, but something happens and their plans fall, everything they thought they could do fail, because they are arrogant and proud, who believe that they can do everything with their own strength.

A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.

Proverbs 16:9

If we think differently, can we move forward, in what way? Leaving pride and haughtiness, because the very word of God tells us that He looks at the haughties from a distance, and the humble closely, giving us to understand that without God we are nothing.

We are alive and it is for God, because only He sustains us, keeps us, frees the one who is troubled, restores the afflicted in heart, helps and strengthens their life, because only God can straighten the path of man.

Divination is on the lips of the king; His mouth must not transgress in judgment.

Proverbs 16:10

The word of our God is firm, because everything that is in front of us was created by Him, that is why everything we put before Him God will fulfill it in time.

Honest weights and scales are the Lord’s; All the weights in the bag are His work.

Proverbs 16:11

God is just, that’s why we should be fair with everything we do. Remember something very important, put all your plans in the hands of God and He will fulfill, He will give you the strength so that you can see them grow.

Many times we make plans based on our limited understanding, forgetting that God sees what we cannot see. He knows what awaits us tomorrow, He knows the dangers that are invisible to our eyes, and He knows the blessings that we are not yet ready to receive. When we surrender our steps to Him, we walk with certainty, not because we understand everything, but because we trust in the One who does.

Human plans often fail because they are built on unstable foundations—emotions, impulses, pride or the idea that our abilities are enough. But those who trust in the Lord build on the Rock, and although storms may come, their plans stand firm because they are rooted in God’s will. This is why the Bible repeatedly teaches us that dependence on God is not weakness; rather, it is the greatest act of wisdom a person can practice.

We must also remember that God’s timing is perfect. Many become discouraged when they do not see immediate results, but God does not work according to our clock. He works according to His eternal purpose, and when we understand this, waiting becomes easier. The delay of God is never denial but preparation, shaping our character and maturing our faith so we are ready for what He wants to give us.

Submitting our plans to God also requires obedience. It is not enough to pray for guidance; we must be willing to follow the path He shows, even when it seems contrary to what we expected. Often the Lord redirects our steps to save us from future pain, to open better doors, or to position us in places that align with our calling. What today seems like a closed path, tomorrow becomes a testimony of how God protected us.

Another important aspect is learning to walk in integrity. Proverbs reminds us that honest weights belong to the Lord, teaching us that God blesses righteousness. Our plans must not only be placed in God’s hands but carried out with honesty, humility and justice. A plan that dishonors God can never prosper in His will. True blessing flows when our actions reflect His character.

Finally, trusting in God’s direction gives peace. When we rely on ourselves, anxiety grows because we know our strength has limits. But when we rest in the Lord, we walk with the confidence that He is guiding every step. Even when circumstances seem contrary, His hand is working. And in the end, everything that is surrendered to Him produces fruit, because God does not abandon the work of His hands.

Therefore, commit your plans to God today. Place before Him every desire, every project, every dream. Let Him shape them and direct them according to His will. In His perfect time, you will see how He fulfills what He promised, because God never fails and His plans are always better than ours.

  1. God has better plans than yours
    =======================
Since our life has been given to us and we are not able to make a single one of our hairs grow without the will of God; since we can’t assert how many years we will live; and since even our life is a vapor, that appears for a little time and then vanishes away, it would be good for us to think of the Lord before making any plans in our life.

It is a fool man or woman who makes plans without bearing in mind that we are not dependent on ourselves, but our lives are in the hands of the Lord, that has put a limit on our existence here on the earth.

We can see every day how people are planning things to do, sometimes years in advance, and they don’t know what will happen ten minutes later. It is better to consider what the will of God may be for our lives and not to plan without submitting things to Him.

So, whether we wish to buy, to sell, to study, to have a job, to get married or remain single, to travel, or any other thing, it will prove good for us—and more beneficial—to ask the Lord for his help and guidance. Our attitude should be that of working and trying to do things well, to the best of our abilities: yes, doing our best to get to a successful end; but at the same time trusting in the Lord, his power and his good Will towards us.

For that you ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. (James 4:15)

We must not forget that the Lord is wise and almighty, and it is not useful to try to do things that will become a failure; because:
“A man’s heart plans his way,
But the Lord directs his steps.”
    Proverbs 16:9

The Lord God loves us and knows perfectly well what will be better for us, our future and our lives, and our future and our lives, and the lives of our loved ones.

May the Lord God be our north star, our light in all our plans we make in this life. Amen
