When we find ourselves in difficulties, sometimes we think, where is God? But, remember that God does not act when you want, but when it is His will.
Although we can not see Him with our eyes, He is always present and attentive to everything that breathes, below the earth, above it and even into the deepest.
When you pray to the Lord, do it with all your heart believing that He will work in your life in the midst of the process that you are going through, because He has never stopped listening to your cry, just do it trusting in the Lord.
As for me, I call to God,
and the Lord saves me.Psalm 55:16
He is the God of our salvation, He is the one who will save us and deliver us, give us new strength so that we can continue to advance in the name of Almighty God.
One of the characteristics that the psalmist David had, was that he could be passing the worst trial, but this man with all this did not forget to glorify the name of the Lord, because this man, knew that God was the one who could save him and Help overcome all the obstacles that were on his forehead.
That is why it is good that we behave as did this man of God, who was not the only one who raised his hands in his moments of tribulation. We can also see Moses leading the people of Israel, he had his difficulties because Israel was a people that sometimes did not understand the purpose of God.
Evening, morning and noon
I cry out in distress,
and he hears my voice.Psalm 55:17
There is no specific time to cry out to the Lord, because at every moment you pray He will listen to you, He does not reject the prayer of the righteous, but is ready to listen to you.
He rescues me unharmed
from the battle waged against me,
even though many oppose me.Psalm 55:18
Do not be one of those who recoil, be one of those who ask the Lord for new strength to continue fighting the good fight of faith, and when you pray do it believing in Almighty God.
It is very common that in moments of anguish our emotions try to deceive us, making us think that God is distant or inattentive. However, the Bible constantly reminds us that God is close to the brokenhearted and attentive to every plea that rises from a sincere soul. The silence of God never means absence; many times His silence is the scenario where He is preparing a powerful answer.
In the Scriptures we see countless examples of people who went through deep deserts but still clung to God. Joseph waited years before seeing the fulfillment of God’s promises. Hannah cried bitterly before she conceived Samuel. Daniel continued praying even when no sign seemed to appear. Each of them teaches us that perseverance in prayer is a mark of true faith and trust.
Prayer is not only a request; it is an act of surrender. When we kneel before God, we acknowledge that our strength is limited and that we need His intervention. This is why the psalmist insisted on seeking God in the morning, at noon, and in the evening. It was not a ritual—it was a lifestyle of dependence on the Almighty.
Sometimes God allows processes that we do not understand, but these processes refine our character and strengthen our faith. Every unanswered question, every tear, and every sleepless night becomes part of the testimony that later will glorify the name of the Lord. What now seems painful, in time will reveal itself as something necessary for our growth.
When difficulties rise against you, instead of letting fear take over, cling to the promises of God. Remember that He has delivered His children in the past, He delivers today, and He will continue delivering tomorrow. God does not change, and His love remains firm forever. In your battle, you are never alone; the Lord fights for you, strengthens you, and sustains you.
So continue praying, continue believing, and continue trusting. The God who heard David’s cry is the same God who listens to yours today. Lift your eyes, lift your hands, and lift your faith, for the Lord is near to those who seek Him with a humble and sincere heart.

It is a good exercise for our soul and body to pray to the Lord God every day, expecting him to protect us and help us against evil things; hoping that he will give comfort in distress, that he will give us cheerfulness in our sadness, that he will cater for our daily bread, dress and a place to rest, by his providence.
The Lord Jesus Christ is our mediator, and we go to God
in his name, on behalf of Jesus; and in this way we lift up our eyes to our heavenly Father, who looks after his creatures.
Do not forget he has sent us to Jesus so that we were admitted into his family, the family of God.
“Evening, morning and noon
I cry out in distress,
and he hears my voice.”
Psalm 55:17
The psalmist confesses to us and this is a good thing to continue doing, without resting. We need Jesus, he loves us. We must look for him as our best friend and Saviour.
It is worth to receive the advice the Minister of this page gives to all of us; he writes:
“Do not be one of those who recoil, be one of those who ask the Lord for new strength to continue fighting the good fight of faith, and when you pray do it believing in Almighty God.”
We ought to pray to the Lord God for this servant of the Lord, so that his work may be blessed for the good of our souls, for all who may read this biblical Page for the Glory of God, by the grace of Jesus Christ and the comfort of the Holy Spirit.
May the Lord God be blessed for ever.
