The prayer of faith

The Bible tells us a lot about faith, we even find very important biblical verses that make us understand that we must have faith, since without faith it is impossible to please God as described in the book of Romans. Around the Bible we will find many characters full of faith, and the greatest example we have is Abraham, the Bible says that his faith was counted for justice, and also says that from this one almost dead his offspring was like the stars of the sky. Friends, faith is a legal requirement of a Christian and we can never lose it.The Apostle James also wrote us something very important about faith:

13 Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise.

14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord.

15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.

James 5:13-15

Chapter five of the book of James gives us a series of recommendations as Christians that we are, and some of them are these, that when we approach God we must have faith. No matter the illness, the great process that we are going through, that we are sad, hungry or whatever we are experiencing, if we pray in the will of God, He will do according to His holy will.

Many times when we are involved in so many problems we go down the path that we believe is easier; we resort to other arms, when it is supposed to be the right moment to rest in the Master’s arms.

Remember that our Lord Jesus said: “Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, I will give you rest”. Trust in God, there is no one else to trust as our Master. Approach Him, knock on the door and He will open you, cry out to Him and answer you.
