God has loved us all the time despite the failures we have had before Him, so much so that if He had not loved us He would not die for us on the cross of Calvary for our sins.
God’s love for us is so profound that He gave His only son for humanity, being mistreated by us on earth during His ministry. The Bible tells us about these events during the sermons of Christ.
Many of those who walked in the crowd, some to listen to the word of God and others mockers of it, others were seeking healing, and there were also scribes and Pharisees who criticized the Lord’s teachings.
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
1 John 4:16
Truly the love of God is visible to all who want to abide in Him, today many reject the call of Christ in their hearts, so my question is how can they say that the Lord abides in them when they still do not have received Him.
The book of John tells us that the love of God abides in that who also abides in Christ Jesus, because everyone who has known God has love and practices all that is good, but everyone who does not have the true love of Christ has not met Him.
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
1 John 4:17
The love of God gives us to understand that our trust must be placed in the hands of the Almighty. If His love is within us, then we can give this love so deep to others and teach that only One can give of that great love, and that wonderful being is called God.
