How good it is when we have faith in our lives. Faith is very important, it is what helps us to remain believing that God will fulfill what He has promised in each of our lives.
Sometimes there are difficult times in which, we do not have food, or we have a sick relative or a friend who is going through strong trials, it is at those times we must have faith. How can we achieve this? Praying to God to help us have faith and allow that faith to increase.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1
The writer of the book of the Hebrews was giving a brief teaching about the faith. What can we say what faith is? Faith is what helps us to believe that God exists, faith is what helps us to ask and expect this faith was given by the Lord.
Faith is something that comes from the depths of the heart that serves God, it is the certainty that when we go before God and pray, we believe that He hears us. That faith we have will give us the strength we need in all the difficult times we have.
For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.
Hebrews 11:2
The author of the book of the Hebrews continues to mention some Bible characters who believed and received what God had promised them.
By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
Hebrews 11:3
This is the faith, it is so that we believe even without seeing, that God will do it, even if it is impossible for us, so let us not doubt, but when we ask the Lord, we are confident because He is faithful and fulfills all His promises.
