We are called by God so that we can reach the stature of the perfect man, and how can we obtain this perfection? One way is by leaving the world and its desires, not practicing sin.
Remember that after Jesus comes to look for His people and we are caught, our bodies will be glorified and we will reach the stature of the perfect man, as His Word says.
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
1 John 3:1
One of the things we know is that everyone who has not known the Father does not know the Son either, and as the apostle John says: That everyone who does not know the love of God, has not known God because God is love.
Everyone who is a child of God carries the love of Him, because He is love, but those who still do not know Him, the love of God is not in them, but if the love of God enters their lives they will also know Him and His children.
Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.
1 John 3:2
Everyone who has known God expects from Him what He promised, because His manifestation will be soon and when that happens to everyone who has done hHs will and is doing His will, they will receive the promise of the Lord, their bodies will be purified and they will be perfect, just as God has promised each one, and we will see Him as He is.
All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.
1 John 3:3
It is good that, as He has given us of His love, we also manifest these good works with others who do not know the love of our Lord Jesus Christ, because everyone who has hope purifies himself and will be pure as He is.
