We must bear in mind that the mercy of the Lord has reached us all the time, from creation to now.
Do not be like your parents and your fellow Israelites, who were unfaithful to the Lord, the God of their ancestors, so that he made them an object of horror, as you see.
2 Chronicles 30:7
Almighty God has mercy on those who are merciful. The Lord cares for them and keeps them in all their ways, so it is good that we are faithful to God in all things and that we also keep His commandments.
But all those who seek their own pleasures and who are doing everything their heart tells them, some have rebelled against God, and for this reason God has given them to desolation.
Do not be stiff-necked, as your ancestors were; submit to the Lord. Come to his sanctuary, which he has consecrated forever. Serve the Lord your God, so that his fierce anger will turn away from you.
2 Chronicles 30:8
But remember something. God is always attentive that we humble ourselves before Him, do not forget that He is always merciful and that He remains faithful, even if we fail Him.
It is good that we sanctify and glorify God at all times, that we be obedient and sacrifice ourselves to bless the almighty God.
If you return to the Lord, then your fellow Israelites and your children will be shown compassion by their captors and will return to this land, for the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if you return to him.
2 Chronicles 30:9
What will happen to all those who turn from evil? God will have mercy on them and His face will never depart, and all the time we are in trouble God will come to our aid, to help us and get rid of our adversaries.
