Man every day seeks to enrich himself, and his eyes are only put in the vainglory of life, what they will get tomorrow, or how much they will invest and how much will be earned, his mind only thinks about riches.
People who are greedy only think about following their own destiny and their love is only money, for which they does not sleep, they are always exalted, if they had a little humility, they have no more because they only thinks about being rich.
But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.
1 Timothy 6:8
We owe every day thanks to God for the sustenance He gives us, for the daily bread which only God can do this wonderful work with His children, but around us we have people who are not humble.
Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.
1 Timothy 6:9
But what does the Bible say about these people who are not humble? Psalm 138:6 says “For the LORD is exalted, and he tends to the humble, but to the proud he looks afar off.” This suggests that all men who are humble will be close to God, but the haughty, those who only think about their riches, rejecting the poor, God looks at them from afar.
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
1 Timothy 6:10
Be humble in everything you do, give thanks for all the things He gives you, but do not be haughty, because even as He gave you something, He can take it away from you, He is God and He does as He wants, so if you are not practicing humility it is good that you do it because God likes that.
