It is important that we trust in God, because God is the one who sustains us and helps us to stand, it is good to remember that without Him we are nothing and we can not do anything, our lives must always be placed in the hands of the Almighty God.
Trusting in God is not simply a religious phrase; it is a way of life for every believer. When we trust in the Lord, we acknowledge that His wisdom is far superior to ours and that His power is able to accomplish what we never could through our own strength. Each day we face decisions, battles, and moments of deep weakness, and in all those circumstances, our safest place is under the shelter of His wings. Without Him we lose direction, but with Him we find strength, purpose, and stability. The more we recognize our dependence on God, the more clearly we see His hand guiding and sustaining our path.
The strong and courageous God will defend us and keep us from the evil one, no matter who rises up against us. God will fight for you and will defeat and take away everything that makes you or wants to make you the war. The Lord is a mighty warrior; He does not turn away from battle. When darkness threatens us, it is God who shines His light. When people slander us or when spiritual opposition tries to devour us, it is God who stands up and says, “Enough.” This should give us immense confidence—our battles are not ours alone, for the Almighty walks before us.
May they be like chaff before the wind,
with the angel of the Lord driving them away;Psalm 35:5
God is always attentive, He defends His children, cares for them and shows them the way to salvation. The angel of the Lord defends us and removes all obstacles, the evil one is waiting us to fall in order to point us with the accusing finger. Yet God does not allow the weapons of the enemy to prosper. He removes the nets placed in secret, He destroys hidden traps, and He redirects attacks that were meant to destroy us. Many times we are not even aware of the dangers that surround us, but God is, and He guards us day and night with a love that never sleeps.
may their path be dark and slippery,
with the angel of the Lord pursuing them.Psalm 35:6
The psalmist saw the wickedness of these men, then seeing their wickedness he declared these words, saying that their way be of darkness and slippery places, that their feet lose stability, and that the angel of the Lord pursue them in all their ways. This was not a cry for personal revenge, but a plea for divine justice. David knew that evil often disguises itself with a smile, but God sees through every mask. The Lord’s justice may not always come when we expect it, but it always comes with perfect timing and perfect righteousness.
Since they hid their net for me without cause
and without cause dug a pit for me,Psalm 35:7
This man had a kind heart and showed mercy to other people no matter what they had done, but there were also those who envied him and wanted to kill him. But God never departed from him, He was always ready to help him and to destroy his adversaries. David’s life is a powerful reminder that even the most faithful servants of God will face opposition. Jealousy, betrayal, slander, and hatred often target those who genuinely pursue righteousness. But every time someone digs a pit for God’s children, the Lord Himself becomes their defender.
So if we trust in God everything will turn out well, because everyone who has his trust placed in the almighty God will be blessed, strengthened, and sustained. God is our helper, our strength, our early help in the tribulations. He is the One who restores us when we fall, who lifts us up when we are weary, and who surrounds us with His peace when life becomes overwhelming. Nothing escapes His notice, and nothing is too difficult for Him to resolve.
Believe in Him and He will do. The God who cared for the psalmist David will also take care of you. He will fight your battles, close the mouths of lions, silence false accusations, and open doors no one can shut. Trusting in God is the greatest security a human being can have, because those who hide under His wings will never be abandoned. Lift your eyes, strengthen your heart, and keep walking—your God walks with you.
