Many people today think that the eyes of the Lord are not looking at us, but that is not the case, because the eyes of God are on all of humanity.
Many ignore all that the Lord has commanded to say through his Word, and is that people every day turn away from the ways of the Lord.
keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies.
Psalm 34:13
It is important that our soul be kept away from all deception, and that our tonghe be subject all the time, and that we can also speak truthfully.
When we let our thoughts wander, then the enemy comes and takes possession of our minds, this happens when we are not subject to the will of God.
Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
Psalm 34:14
It is important that we take care of ourselves and that every deceiving spirit that wants to come into our lives we can reprimand them so that they be diverted and can not reach our lives.
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry;
Psalm 34:15
But we who are in the presence of God, let us go forward in the name of the Lord leaving behind everything that wants to bother us.
But everyone who has his spirit directed and subject in the Lord, help everyone who has a blindfold so that they too can be free from every lie of the evil one.
Remember that the eyes of the Almighty are on all humanity, He looks at everyone who speaks lies, and those who commit all kinds of injustice to others. Although many think that it is not so, God was the one who created all things and His eyes contemplate everything that exists for Him, that is why it is good that we do not forget this: God looks at all humanity.
When we meditate on these passages, we realize that the psalmist is inviting us not only to consider God’s gaze, but also to evaluate our own walk before Him. God does not look superficially; His eyes reach the deepest intentions of the heart. For this reason, the text urges us to guard our tongue, our motives, and even our hidden thoughts. Many times we think that only actions matter, but God sees the root from which those actions flow. If our heart is clean, our words will also reflect that purity.
In a world where lying has become common and where deception is often celebrated, the believer must shine differently. Speaking truth, turning from evil, and pursuing peace are not optional attitudes; they are commands that reveal who truly belongs to God. The Scriptures remind us that peace must be pursued intentionally. It does not come automatically, nor does it stay with those who live carelessly. Peace is the result of a life aligned with God.
Another powerful truth found here is that God’s ears are attentive to the cry of the righteous. This means that we are never alone, even when we feel unheard by the world. Many suffer in silence, thinking that no one sees their tears or understands their burdens. Yet God is always watching, always listening. The righteous may go through afflictions, but none of them escape the attention of the Almighty. His eyes are not indifferent; they are eyes of mercy, justice, and compassion.
This awareness should encourage us to walk in integrity. If God sees everything, then nothing we do is in vain. No act of kindness goes unnoticed, no effort to resist temptation is ignored, and no prayer is lost in the wind. God’s constant watchfulness should not produce fear but confidence, because His gaze upon the righteous is a protective gaze.
At the same time, these verses remind us that we must help others open their eyes to the truth. Many walk blinded by lies, by sin, or by the distractions of this world. Those of us who know the Word have the responsibility to guide, instruct, and encourage others to turn from evil and seek the Lord. A life aligned with God becomes a light that exposes darkness and points others to the path of salvation.
Finally, remembering that God sees all humanity should awaken in us a sense of reverence and responsibility. We cannot live as if our actions were invisible. Everything we do, everything we say, and even everything we think is before God. This truth, rather than discouraging us, should lead us to a deeper surrender and a sincere desire to honor Him in every aspect of our lives.
