Although human courts may fail and earthly systems may be corrupted, the Lord sees every act, hears every word, and knows every intention of the heart. Many people falsely believe that God’s judgments are far away, delayed indefinitely, or perhaps nonexistent. However, Scripture repeatedly reminds us that God’s patience is meant to lead to repentance, not to encourage rebellion. The delay of judgment does not mean its absence.
