There are many characteristics of an evil man. His heart and thoughts are always on the lookout, continually inclined toward evil. That is why the psalmist speaks of the words and actions of these evil men.
Their secrecy, their hiding places, and their ever-watchful eyes are signs of their wicked nature. Every day their wickedness grows, but they do not consider that above all these wars and evils that they promote, there is One who has His eyes fixed on those wicked men who do iniquity, who will overthrow the power of those who do such things.
Another characteristic of the wicked man is his bullying attitude. The psalmist describes each of these traits in detail. Therefore, his power will be broken:
All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
Psalm 75:10
The righteous man respects and acts with pure justice. In all his ways he puts God first, recognizing that He is his shield and the one who overthrows the power of the wicked. The evil practices of the wicked man will not prevail. As this chapter says, the power of the righteous will be exalted by God.
We have never seen a righteous man abandoned, because God always comes to his aid. He removes the stones that prevent him from crossing the road. Every evil work has a time of expiration. So, brothers, let us trust more in the Lord, who frees us. Let us follow the good steps that our God shows us.
