The damned will be destroyed

“The way of the wicked“, this is a psalm of David, which speaks of the way of the evil man. The path of the evil man is a dark path and he follows what his thoughts dictate, but this happens because the one who guides him is the evil one.

Chapter 37 begins with some encouraging words: “Do not be impatient because of evildoers, nor be envious of those who do iniquity; for like grass they will soon be cut down, and like green grass they will wither.”

In verse 22 of chapter 37, the following is said about the blessings of the righteous and the sad end of the wicked:

For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.

Psalm 37:22

Let’s take this clear example from verse 21, where the author says that the wicked borrows and does not pay, but the righteous gives and helps others, showing mercy and love.

Furthermore, we can notice that the way of the wicked man is based on doing evil and having the freedom to walk and cause others to stumble. He only thinks about acquiring benefits in any way.

That is why every wicked man will be destroyed, just as this chapter says. His paths will be full of darkness, and his feet will slip. If you are one of those who do good and not evil, then you will inherit the earth and be filled with blessings.
