All those who cause a stumbling block will be thrown into the furnace of fire

From the first verse of chapter 13 of the gospel according to Matthew, we have countless parables of which Jesus gave the meaning.

In verses 41 and 42 we can notice that the Lord speaks of the meaning of the tares. That is why we see the title of this article showing that anyone who serves as a stumbling block to those who serve the Lord boldly, will be cast into the lake of fire.

Do not be a stumbling block to your brother, because if you do this, then you will be thrown into the lake of fire, as these words tell us:

41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 13:41-42

The disciples were curious about this parable and wanted Jesus to tell them about it. He says that he entered the house and, approaching them, told them about it. The teacher explained to them that He Himself was the one who sowed the good seed, the Son of Man, but later He told them the following:

“The field is the world, the good seed is the children of the kingdom of God, and the tares are the children of the enemy, those who are manipulated and obey the commands of the evil one.” But we see that those who serve the Lord will be heirs, while those who serve as a stumbling block will be thrown into the fiery furnace.

Do not be a stumbling block to your brother; be one of those who serve for good work and not for iniquity, for all those who cause the children of the Lord to stumble will be thrown into the fiery furnace.
