As we can see, chapter 22 is the last chapter of the Apocalypse, where John wrote about the coming of Christ, this coming that will be an impressive fact.
Every human being should take the path to Jesus. John testifies to that vision that he had and wrote about it in the Apocalypse, and we should not doubt this great event. The church of Christ must be more subject to the Lord every day because behold, the time is drawing near.
Let us remember well that John says that the coming of Christ is near, these are faithful and true words and that He who has given the vision to John is coming soon to fulfill what He had promised to the church.
He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
Revelation 22:20
This is the penultimate verse in the Bible, and it could be said that it is the last one, because the last one is a farewell. So this verse talks about the coming of Christ and says that He is coming shortly. Isn’t this something very important? The last words of Revelation and of the entire Bible are about the coming of Christ.
It is time to stop being entertained and focus on what really matters and that is that Christ is coming and we must be prepared. Let us stand firm, let us keep the Words of the Lord, these times are difficult and that is why we must be prepared for that great day.
Everyone who washes their spiritual clothes will have the right to the tree of life, they will be able to enjoy what the Lord has prepared for all the faithful, for those who died for His cause, for those who never fell into the seduction of the wishes of this world, for those who today still stand firm fighting the good fight.
God is with you, be faithful until the end and you will receive eternal life, His Spirit will be with you until the end. God bless you.
The final chapter of Revelation is not only a conclusion, but also a solemn reminder to the church of all ages. John, inspired by the Holy Spirit, records the words of Christ Himself, assuring us that His return is not a distant idea, but a promise that remains alive and active. These words were meant to awaken the hearts of believers, calling them to vigilance, obedience, and faithfulness.
Throughout history, many generations have read these words, and each one has lived with the hope of seeing the fulfillment of this promise. The certainty of Christ’s coming should not lead us to fear, but to a life of holiness and commitment. The believer who truly understands this promise seeks to live according to the will of God, knowing that every action, thought, and decision matters before the Lord.
John’s testimony is clear and firm. He does not speak from imagination or human reasoning, but from divine revelation. That is why he emphasizes that these words are faithful and true. In a world full of uncertainty, deception, and temporary pleasures, the Word of God remains unchanging. The promise of Christ’s return stands as a beacon of hope for all who trust in Him.
The call to be prepared is repeated throughout Scripture. Being prepared does not only mean waiting, but living actively in faith, persevering in prayer, loving one another, and resisting the temptations of this world. The washing of spiritual garments represents a life cleansed by repentance and obedience, a life surrendered to Christ and guided by His truth.
The promise of access to the tree of life reminds us of what was lost in the beginning and what will be fully restored in eternity. God has prepared something glorious for those who remain faithful, something that goes beyond human understanding. Eternal life is not only a future hope, but a present assurance for those who walk with Christ.
Therefore, let us take these words seriously. Let us examine our lives and renew our commitment to the Lord. The coming of Christ should motivate us to stand firm, to remain faithful, and to encourage one another. As the church, we await that glorious day with confidence, echoing the words written at the end of Scripture: Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
