A wise person always acts prudently, therefore, he prospers in everything he does. Such people will inherit honor for their good attitudes, and their ways will always be right before the Lord.
But fools always get what they deserve, it doesn’t go well for them because they are evil and act according to what their heart tells them. They are guided by their own knowledge and are not directed by God. Therefore, at the end of the following verse, the reward of the wise and the reward of the foolish is mentioned:
The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools.
Proverbs 3:35
Ignominy: It is a serious offense that every man suffers, his honor and dignity are left in tatters.
The author of this book calls us about the path of the unjust man. God does not take pleasure in the way of unjust man, and as his name indicates, he acts without justice, since he only thinks that there is no God greater than him.
Therefore, at times the way of the fool may seem enviable, but we must not be equal to them or do what they do, for soon their way will turn to dishonor, and they will perish in their evil ways. The same ignominy will attack them significantly.
Brothers, let us not envy the path of the unjust nor follow in his footsteps. The wicked man may prosper in riches, but he is unjust, and his days of glory will soon fall. Therefore, wise and just men, abide in the righteousness of God.
