Escape from being thrown into the lake of fire

Following Christ is one of the best decisions that human beings must make, ensuring His life in Jesus which shows us that only in Him can we achieve eternal life, just as He has promised. Soon every eye will see that great day.

The Word of our God is very clear, staying in the ways of the Lord is very difficult, that is why Jesus left his Holy Spirit to guide us and give us strength in difficult moments, so what will happen to those who They still don’t know the Lord and live their life as they want thinking that after death there is nothing else?

Many people live today as if this earthly life were the only thing that exists. They plan, work, and struggle without ever stopping to think about eternity. The Scriptures warn us that this way of thinking is dangerous, because it ignores the reality of God’s judgment and the promise of eternal life that is only found in Christ. To follow Jesus is not simply to adopt a religion, but to surrender our lives completely to His will.

That is why in the following verse of Revelation he tells us about what will happen to those who live as they want outside the ways of the Lord:

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 20:15

This verse is a solemn warning to all humanity. It clearly shows us that there will be a final judgment, and that no one will be able to escape it. God is loving and merciful, but He is also just. Those who reject His grace, ignore His commandments, and refuse to repent will face the consequences of their decisions.

The book of Revelation is a book where we can appreciate the great signs that the Lord has sent through our beloved brother John so that we can understand about the difficult times that come every day for the children of God.

Revelation was not written to produce fear alone, but to awaken our conscience and strengthen our faith. It reminds believers that trials, persecutions, and spiritual battles will increase, but it also assures us that Christ is victorious and that those who remain faithful will receive the crown of life.

And that is why we must pay close attention about these words that are faithful and true. The Lord asks us to ensure that our names are inscribed in the book of life, because there will come a day when we will be called by our names and if you do not appear there, then you will be thrown into the lake of fire and there will be the crying and crunching of teeth.

Having our names written in the book of life is not a matter of chance. It is the result of believing in Jesus Christ, repenting of our sins, and walking daily in obedience to His Word. Salvation is a gift of grace, but it also demands commitment, perseverance, and a transformed life that reflects Christ.

The Holy Spirit plays a fundamental role in this walk of faith. He convicts us of sin, guides us into all truth, and strengthens us when our faith feels weak. Without the help of the Spirit, it would be impossible to remain firm in the midst of temptations and trials. That is why Jesus promised not to leave us alone.

For the believer, Revelation is also a book of hope. While it speaks of judgment, it also speaks of restoration, of a new heaven and a new earth, and of a future where pain, death, and suffering will no longer exist. This hope encourages us to remain faithful, knowing that our labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Let us examine our lives today. Are we truly following Christ, or are we only calling ourselves Christians while living according to our own desires? The Lord gives us time to repent, to return to Him, and to align our lives with His will. Tomorrow is not guaranteed, but today we can choose life.

May this message move us to take our faith seriously, to seek the Lord with humility, and to remain watchful, knowing that the coming of Christ is near. Blessed are those who keep their garments clean and whose names are written in the book of life.
