Judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy

Everyone who does not have mercy, then judges without mercy, and that is why the verse that we will see in this article tells us about everyone who judges without having any mercy, because they will also be judged in the same way.

In this scripture, Santiago warns us about having a selective obedience, also keeping the commandments of our Lord, because we all know that we must be prepared at all times since we can sin in different ways.

This is a warning against those people who like to be respectful of people and that is why Santiago gives this example of many who like to treat others depending on the clothing they wear.

For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

James 2:13

That is why he talks to his brothers about partiality, about throwing out the one who is in rags and receiving the one who arrives well dressed, offering him the best seats.

That is why when it comes time for us to show mercy to others, no matter what quality of clothing they have, or how well they are monetarily, you must love your neighbor. You must also love and show mercy to those who have nothing and who walk around in rags.

Brothers, we are going to love our neighbor as James suggests in this chapter, we are going to show mercy to everyone, it does not matter if they have material goods or not, because God’s mercy is enough for everyone.
