This is an exhortation of the new life in Christ Jesus, all of us when we receive Christ as our Lord and as our only God, since there is no longer darkness in our lives, but light.
Since we are in the Lord, the enemy has no part or luck in our ways, that is why we must understand that God is with us and we must obey Him, fill ourselves with Him and cover ourselves with His protective shield.
The apostle Paul speaks to those who have already divested themselves of the old man, those people who had come close to the Lord to be new creatures and no longer behave like the children of darkness:
Neither give place to the devil.
Ephesians 4:27
Paul gives this advice about this evil that could reach again all those who did not abandon the old man, that is why he tells him, do not give place to the devil, making it clear that they could not even give him a gap since in this way they could be deceived by the enemy.
It is very important to understand that if we are new in Christ, we must leave the old man and be a new creature, acting as the Lord commands us. Remember that you are already a child of God, a new creature, you must act as such and ask for wisdom so as not to give room to the enemy of souls in your life.
